When my dad passed away, we had to go through his things and I found a little glass lamp shaped different but the same style of glass and it’s old because they don’t make them that way no more anyway I cherish❤ it so much because it was my dad’s and it’s so pretty and unique. Loved the t-shirts,and the girlie shirt was very pretty..our thrift stores doesn't have hardly anything decor wise in there stores..andbesides that, they are going n going up on there prices everyday..some of the goodwill prices are higher than what you pay at most stores..it is unreal how hi the prices have gotten..these goodwills in florida, doesn't help any one that needs help..they've stopped all that at all of these goodwills..it's so sad to, cause everything they sell, is donated..I told my husband that we was gonna donate to nursing homes, or the homeless shelters.the nursing homes are so so proud of it..can't wait to see how you make over ur bathroom..bet it will be beautiful..tfs..stay warm this weekend n upcoming few days too..tfs..
Hi Kelsey! We were up in NC for Christmas, just got home tonight. I only went to one thrift store while i was there. I only bought a couple of frames & a couple clothing pieces for the grandbabies. I saw a lot of gorgeous art in the stores you guys were in! The old, oval bubble frames are my fav frames! And pictures of people.. real photos, painted, sketched,any type at all.. is my fav art to collect! Lol some do look a little weird but it don't bother me.🤷♀️ Wow.. so many pretty brass candle sticks! I love using candle sconces all around my home! I usually pick them up anytime i find them at a good price. I really love those, they were so pretty! My husband says i hoard lamps! lol😄 But i don't, i just love to collect old lamps, and i do use them!😁 Most are smaller & i tuck them all around the house. Lamps are basically all i use the the living room & bedroom. I still had a few that i didn't use stored, because i didn't have space, our apt in Tennessee was really small. My largest lamp is a big crystal & brass one & i had just found a shade for it but had nowhere to put it. But the house we're moving into the end of this month has lots of room, so I'll have it somewhere, finally!😁 But I loved that little crystal one you looked at.. beautiful little lamp! I saw some more really pretty ones too! Ohh that little converse set is so cute!😊 Evan Craft is a contemporary/pop gospel singer & 'Good Neighbor' is one of his songs! The tshirt may have come from a concert maybe!🤷♀️ The quarter sleeve top is really pretty! Love the brass basket!🤎 The candle sticks are nice! I got tickled when you said 'the kind you hold like this', it wasn't what you said, the little demonstration tickled me😄 too cute.. but those are called Chamber Candle holders, those are my favorite ones to buy actually. Im glad you got the glass lamp! Its really a pretty little lamp! I think i would get a smaller shade, maybe in a creamier color instead of bright white. If you're going for the more vintage look that would help. But if you like the more contemporary look the bright white is fine, but needs to smaller. Of course I love the shelf! I love anything wood & love picking up shelves of any size! But whatever you do to the bathroom, i know is going to be beautiful!😊 Thanks for taking us thrifting with you, i enjoyed it! HAPPY NEW YEAR Kelsey, family, and feathered friends. IN THE BURGH we got 3 inches of Snow today, and 6 to 8 inches are due Sunday night into Monday. Absolutely going to have to make my way to my favorite Thrift Stores. Nothing like shopping in the Winter with all the snow in the Burgh. At 8:40pm it is 23 degrees. My husband is a snow freak, the more the better for him. He is like a kid in the candy store when it comes to snow, me, even though I grew up in Pennsylvania, the older I get the more I hibernate...LOL. VERY NICE HAUL Kelsey, can't wait to see what you do with your Bathroom. STTB

Hi Kelsey I went to Goodwill really fast while my husband went to get three grocery store to just get three things. They had seventy five percent off new Christmas stuff that is donated by say Target, Marshall’s, etc. I could have bought lots of stuff, but still got a whole bag full for less than six dollars. They had beautiful things to decorate all the rooms in the house but I have a garage and attic full that I can shop for. I think it is the time to go if you want decor. Our Goodwills don’t usually have that much or pretty things, but I had to use restraint today. I hope they still have the sconces. I went to GW to get something I should have gotten last time and of course it was gone. My husband says if you see it, love it, get it right off the bat. I love the faceted jar. It could be for the bathroom or for jam in the kitchen. I don’t have a brass basket…that is nice. I love the clothes you got. It is freezing here and I told my husband you had on short sleeves. We are supposed to get a big snow Sunday night. My husband was born in Texas. The shelf was nice too. I can wait to see how you change your bathroom. Take care ❤❤❤

Hi Kelsey. You got some really great things at the antique store and Goodwill today. I love that little Glass Lamp and I love brass candlesticks. The little glass jar may have held a candle at one time but it does resemble a little glass jar I picked up at Hobby Lobby with the same identical cover. I do keep my cotton pads in the bathroom in my jar. If you decide to use it as a candle holder, make sure the flame doesn't get too high to burn that wooden handle.
There is gorgeous blue paint my daughter also painted her bathroom with she has a eye for paint color she always picks the right colors. I hope yours comes together with your shelf ..❤😂
The picture of the old man by the fireplace hung above the fireplace in my parents' house when I was growing up. I inherited the house and the picture when they passed. I don't have the picture hanging, but do still have it. I couldn't get rid of it because they loved it so much.
I went and found a beautiful Christmas cream and sugar set made in Japan for a $1 and an ironstone bowl. I love the bubble frames and pictures! Some of the pictures are a little creepy, but I think it's the price, not the pictures that keep people from buying them. You can change the picture in most of them. I do have one of a couple that I bought for $15 at a yard sale and another that is reverse painted glass. Happy New Year to you and your family!
Great finds Kelsey! When you first picked up the jar in the holder l immediately thiught cotton balls or such for the bathroom. I was screaming in my head - get the lamp ....😅 I would suggestva different shade. I remember those lamps from when l was kid. They had a shorter shade. Go back & get the mirrored/canle scones. My husband just went to my favorite thrift store yesterday to buy this gorgeous orange tiger wood antique dinning room sideboard i seen last yesterday!! It was $400 but Fridays are 50% off furniture and now I have to move my entire house around to place it!😂😂😂😂 If I was coming to Texas soon I'd bring the one I already have to you 😂
Our goodwill’s back room is filled to the ceiling. Yet, the shelves are sparse not sure what they are doing! If they would lower the clothing prices, I know I would buy more! Love your videos!

So put on the cute “church” shirt and sip coffee with your new mug! You’d look so cute! And you could use the littlest brass candle holder in your bathroom with a battery powered candle with timer and use it as a bathroom nightlight. 😊
My parents were artists. I have more artwork than walls in my current home. There was also my weakness at the antique store. There was a milk glass lamp. It was missing its hurricane but I have extra of those.
Going to my little thrift store tomorrow, have a 50 per cent off coupon but so do a lot of orher people, they were giving them out last week. It will ve busy Gooe I'm lucky and find good stuff like you did although here in Canada the prices are 3 times higher.
You can put any thing in the freezer and it will shrink the candle wax and pop out of any item you may buy my daughter and I pick up Crystal candlesticks and we give each other one so we both have a set of mixed match and it's really nice I have old lamps too and if you don't rethread them you better watch keeping them plugged in long periods of time

Good will is way to expensive for what it is. They wanted $6 for a stained Walmart brand t-shirt. I advised the cashier. And she’s like well that’s the price. I put it back on the wrack and walked out

You can put any thing in the freezer and it will shrink the candle wax and pop out of any item you may buy my daughter and I pick up Crystal candlesticks and we give each other one so we both have a set of mixed match and it's really nice I have old lamps too and if you don't rethread them you better watch keeping them plugged in long periods of time
Do you have a ghost in your house? What was that noise...lol. Lots of good stuff today. I like curated booth type stores vs. goodwill, etc. Even if the prices are a bit higher. Most of the time it's worth the extra cost.

My Goodwill doesn't give ANY discounts other than 50% off Christmas stuff after the holiday. That's it. No senior discounts, no color of the day discounts. Nothing.
Only certain goodwills do the color discount that I’ve been to!
