Usually rajma is boiled first as tomatoes can make the pressure cooking time longer. My Dad is from Jammu and Rajma chawal used to be on menu every week. Till the rajma beans get a bit crushed and they release their flour like content there is no consistency in the gravy. Your pressure cooker is good.

I think it's quite the usual process of making Rajma .. Not shortcut .. I thought yiu are showing some shortcut way of Cooking .. And I think it's essential to boil it separately first then introduce to the Masala .Then simmer it with Masalas .. Good idea To Temper it with whole Masalas first .. Amritaji , I think puree shouldn't be added as it's sour Fresh tomatoes n Kashmiri Chillies will give a lot red color sweetness / sourness to the gravy .... Overall yiur Idea is excellent !! But not a quick way of cooking Rajmah .. No offence any to yiu Amritaji ... Yiur recipes are always superb n yummy 👌
Hellooo... I completely get your point, but not cooking the rajma first, and directly pressure cooking the same makes the whole process faster. Also the tomato pureé used is for a smooth gravy texture. But yes you can definitely use chopped tomatoes as well... And yes everyone has their way of cooking the rajma or any other dish. But I prefer this version when I am in a rush and want to quickly make the rajma.❤❤❤
Jammu Razma does not use chaat powder they use Anar powder to give sourness , same with Kashmiris but yes its good you made them sour with chaat powder still !

More than rajma curry your presentation of preparation with dance and acting is good otherwise rajma made by anybody tastes similar as there is nothing new in this preparation.
Tum apne pe focus kam aur pan pe zyada rakkho we are more interested in whats happening in the pan than you aadha dekh ke I lost interest...good luck apne ko dikhane mein😂

Here at Singapore the Rajmah takes longer cooking and softening time .. And so I always boil it first 😀 then blend with the Masalas ..
