Also, a recent update changed the "hey google" response time. This gives the impression that the assistant is not hearing you. You may have to increase the response time via Home App>Speaker>Speaker settings>Audio>"Hey Google" sensitivity.
Hi there - have a new Nest Mini - tried all this including reseting router and turning off all other wifi devices and still won't connect to wifi. Any ideas? THANK YOU!
Thank you so much I had a hard time with the Bluetooth connection between the nest mini 2 and my pc it showed in the Bluetooth devices but didn't correctly work for audio stream from pc to speaker. Doing the reboot (option 1) worked 👍
I have tried everything, but it still says, mmmm something went wrong please try in a few seconds, then it says there is a glitch please try in a few seconds, and then it says that again and on the 4th attempt it connects!… it does the same with my other Google mini. It does the same for both when I ask for volume up. These errors have only occurred in the past week, I haven’t a clue what to do
@@reinouttuytten1228 I've fixed my issue. I found out it's my routers problem. Solution: I bought a mesh router. You will be connecting your router to your mesh router through LAN and I connected nest mini into the mesh wifi. If you want to try it first before you purchase mesh router, go to your friend's house (router should not be the same model as yours) and connect your nest mini 2 into their wifi. If it works fine it means the problem is the router. I think google isn't compatible to all routers.
Awesome i reset the nest...i tried everything else no workee, found this post out of desperation and i reset the nest, rebooted my internet, unplgged the nest replugged and asked google to play my favorite station and boom it finally worked. Before doing the last effort, I was ready to throw it in the garbage!! 😀
After a power outage, some of my Google speakers are now showing "these settings are unavailable. Check your wi-fi connection" (some speakers in the house are working fine) - Any suggestions?
I have two Google Nests working an assortment of lights. It came to the point where half the time neither Nest would turn on a light, give me the weather, or about anything else. I factory reset both Nests, uninstalled and reinstalled Google Home, and rebooted my wifi. Now not only does everything works great, but I also know what to do if the system starts screwing up.
Factory reset does not work. What else could be wrong?

I tried the Sensitivity I increased it, fingers crossed this seems to be working. It was originally on default and taking ages to connect.
still doesn’t work 👎
Factory reset is not working holding down the lights after muting the mic nothing is happening at all.
The reboot option worked for me. My daughter thanks you, Sir!
What is it when the factory reset works but it boots and the lights don’t show up at all and can’t press and it was erased from my google home?
And what if this problem keeps returning every other day. some 2 days some 4 to 5 days.
Even after factory reset there is still no sound
