Some of these idiomes are the same in French ! Thank you Laura it is always a pleasure listening to you…??? Please do correct me when I’m making mistakes ! Thank you so much Laura…
OMG, I can't believe this channel even exists, it's just something completely different, some flipping next level of RUclips English. I thought it would be impossible for someone to join "British English RUclips mafia" (English with Lucy, Papa Teach Me, Eat Sleep Dream English etc.), but Smashing English actually MADE it! I absolutely love your videos, I love the content and Laura's performing skills!
Thank you Laura. I love your perfect 50 Perfect English Idioms. I have to study and remember them to speak like a native speaker. You are a good teacher to me Laura
Oh ! Laura you should be an actress , I love you watching, what a marvelous woman you are. You are a billion dollars lady. Your presenting styling so much enthralling.
I think you are fantastic! I'm improving my English very fast since I watched your videos.. I love the way you move your hands when you speak. I'm Italian and we do the same 😅..
This is epic. Thank you Laura for teaching me English in the best way possible. but we still miss your Dad. bring Dad back. I really wanna see that epic hand shake once more.
Thank you Laura for these lovely idioms. Hands down, they can spice up the language we speak. I want to ask you about the idiom which I once came across in a textbook- " be quick/ slow on the uptake". I'm just wondering whether natives really use it, or it dropped out of common usage. Appreciate it.❤
Dear Miss Teacher Laura, many and many thanks for next brilliant, great and so helpful and useful lesson (of course - like always)! Btw - your voice( or accent) is so pleasant and kind for Students! Have a beautiful and wonderful spring - time and take care, please.
Thank you for your video. I learned a bit of English :). The expression number ten I didn't know it. In spanish we say: "robo a mano armada (armed robbery)". I think it's very similar. I like to think about the expressions I learn to see which expressions in my native language capture those nuances. Greetings from spain.
wow, it is really funny way for me to learn and remember these idioms for me. But I can't understand the relation between " Doctor, Doctor, I feel like a pair of curtain" and "pull yourself together"? could you explain it deeply, please?
On the same page about riding the bike. I could ride a bike at light speed when I was little but have lost the skill by growing up!! I am now so panicky just simply being on the bike.
