I like the way you're imparting a certain authenticity to your review by way of invoking the brand history and other details that matter in an absolutely timely fashion. One of the best reviews I've seen of this whisky. Cheers.
It surprised me too. It was once on sale for $11.99 so I tried it. I still prefer single malts but it was totally sippable and noticeably malty. To me better than the mainstream Irish and Canadian blends.
Ballantines is better and similar for my taste than canadian club, a drop of water makes a different experience. Great discovery that will make me safe lots of money in the future.
I bought balantine drink the same one but the taste its sweet or bitter? I'm 23 yrs old and try to sip my first glass of alcohol please lemme know cos I never drink alcohol before and mine still in the fridge 😊
Howdy, Brother! I truly appreciate your time and effort reviewing this affordable gem. If you're ever riding through Texas, I'll treat you to an opulent combo: Fried Catfish, hushpuppies and Ballantine's!
Sorry sir, how much did you say in the video? 50 Rand = 3.04 dollar? I exchange to my Vietnamdong then it is a unbelievable cheap price for a 750ml Ballentines Finest. Thanks in advance if you reply and let me know the information!! 🙏🙏
Thanks for the review, it was very good; especially you paired with some foods! Just curious, what's the age of the Finest? As for JW Black Label, it is an 12 yr old blend whiskey.
I have question sir I have Ballantines finest Bosshoss edition very good whisky, why is not a secturry at the bottle Is all bottles like this no secrutry i see your bottle same my bottle Soorry for bad englisch I am from turkey 🇹🇷🕊🧿🙏
it's curious,i have drunk a few varieties of whiskies in my day but im never really sure what peat tastes like,i believe i know but im not 100% certain but it is a taste i find slightly of in JWR that i do not find much in most other brands ,to me it has this distinct rustic whisky flavour and the last time i tasted it was in a whites and macay ,its one of those hard to point flavors but once you had a few varieties you believe to know what you are looking for ,a lingering aftertaste

Excellent review, Straight on the subject , with the stamp of authority.. This is my regular whisky and you spelled out accurate notes..
Today in 2022 its $19 here in the US, honestly much better than I expected for the price, its quite drinkable with just a splash of water.
Interesting analysis
Love the way you said "malt cereal"!
Looks like I may just have to move to South Africa to get my whiskies at a higher ABV :(
Whiskey Quests indeed 😊🥃!!

I doubt it,cause they do have a 12 year old and it does taste smoother.
