I just ordered my first diver watch and Orient (Ray II Black) today. I plan on modding it slightly by replacing it's "achilles heels". First by buying a strapcode super oyster bracelet and second by replacing the crystal with a slightly domed or flat sapphire.
Anyways, I'd like to know which of the super oyster bracelets you'd recommend. As I understand it only the buckles are different and I have narrowed it down to two options:
The "Divers clasp" (you have this on the third watch) and the "V-clasp button double lock". The cost difference is negligeble.
Is one "more solid" or durable or is it simply a question of visual preference?
Any thoughts are much appreciated!

Blake Bias bezel mods don't effect waterproof whatsoever. The glass swaps should be fine but you'd have to have it tested to know for sure.
