Fiirst of all ,we assumed the ages of and c
A=3x
C=4x
It was mentioned in the que that four time the difference in ages of c and a is one more than the age of b so,
4[A-C]=B+1
Now we simply put the assumed value of a and c ,
4[4x-3x]=B+1
4x X [1]= B+1
B+1=4x
THEREFORE ,
B=4x-1
