Felicitaciones.
Revisit this & all his Rubenstein every 6 mos & saw his Carnegie Hall debut !🎉 🔥💥🤩🌟🙌👏 💖 But like videos because best part of Juan is how his eyes, face, heart, soul & entire body ARE the music & why he's audience favorite!!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤

He is kind of improvising within the concerto! It's genial but don't know whether this is allowed in a competition like this one.
Well he won, so the judges must have allowed it. And it should be allowed; people improvised a lot in Beethoven's day.
@@PlanetOfTheApes999 well given the passage at 27:47 it seems to me he kinda overdid it, some confusion there (probably they rehearsed it differently, he forgot what he improvised etc.) he seems to be a little too confident about his improvisations
@@cristianrduIt’s just one tiny thing , really not important because he is a first class musician. Nobody seems to be allowed any sort of mistakes today , which is just soooooooooo stupid and annoying.
@@cristianrduto be honest, the short cadenza is written and not improvised and it was fault from the conductor… the question would be: was there enough rehearsing time before a final round?
uploaded in mono sound :(
He doesn’t feel obliged , he just feels it that way , I find it so refreshing. Clara is Clara , Pires is Pires an he is…well…Florestan.
