    Maestro Juan Perez Floristan! que preciosidad de ejecucion del 4to Concierto para piano y orquesta de Beethoven; un tecnica impecable, un fraseo musical precioso, una coordinacion con la orquesta precisa y ha sido una maravilla poder ver y escuchar su version. Felicitaciones.

    Revisit this & all his Rubenstein every 6 mos & saw his Carnegie Hall debut !🎉 🔥💥🤩🌟🙌👏 💖 But like videos because best part of Juan is how his eyes, face, heart, soul & entire body ARE the music & why he's audience favorite!!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤

    He is kind of improvising within the concerto! It's genial but don't know whether this is allowed in a competition like this one.

      Well he won, so the judges must have allowed it. And it should be allowed; people improvised a lot in Beethoven's day.

      ​@@PlanetOfTheApes999 well given the passage at 27:47 it seems to me he kinda overdid it, some confusion there (probably they rehearsed it differently, he forgot what he improvised etc.) he seems to be a little too confident about his improvisations

      @@cristianrduIt’s just one tiny thing , really not important because he is a first class musician. Nobody seems to be allowed any sort of mistakes today , which is just soooooooooo stupid and annoying.

      @@cristianrduto be honest, the short cadenza is written and not improvised and it was fault from the conductor… the question would be: was there enough rehearsing time before a final round?

    Il joue incroyablement bien, c'est très beau. Mais pourquoi se croit-il obligé de rajouter des notes à une partition déjà tellement riche ? Cela se faisait sans doute du temps de Mozart et de Beethoven -- ornements et autres improvisations -- mais cela n'apporte rien à l'émotion, surtout dans une oeuvre si poignante. Maria Joao Pires, ou Clara Haskil si on parle des anciens, ne rajoute aucune note, et c'est bien plus beau ! Qu'il se contente de le faire dans les cadences ! Non vraiment je n'aime pas cela. C'est dommage.
    La sonnerie malencontreuse d'un téléphone ne semble pas l'avoir déconcentré, bravo !

      Moi je suis compositeuse et jais trouvé les petites improvisations charmantes, pas de tout désagréables, et surtout un signe de l'ímagination de Florestán. C'est possible quelles sont comme son nom et le caractère de Schumann: Florestan. En tout cas, Florestán est vraiment formidable! Je m'excuse à cause de mon français si mauvais que j'ai appris à high school in Maine, il y a tant d'années ... en effet, 75.

      He doesn’t feel obliged , he just feels it that way , I find it so refreshing. Clara is Clara , Pires is Pires an he is…well…Florestan.
