Is nobody stating the obvious fact that Cooper basically saved music by putting that microphone up to his chest to let everyone listen to his heartbeat????? Because that is what couxed his brother to beatbox to it, therefore making everyone see that music is inside them!!
He did the same thing that ended the silence the first time; he made a sound. He realized that finding the love of his family gave him something irreplaceable... music in his heart.
3:10 I love that detail with Cooper, his family’s heart glows purple like a Funk Troll, but his heart glows pink like a Pop Troll because that’s what he is in heart! 💜💜💖💜
I wish the world was more like this, where race wasn’t important, where culture was celebrated, where we lived in harmony instead of having political fights and having to be separated by politics.
"race wasn't important" I think that's the opposite of what the movie was trying to say. The movie brings the message that we DO have differences and we must recognize these and it's what makes us all special and unique. But regardless, we can still live in harmony and accept these differences.
I didn't notice this earlier, but when I put in my earphones you can hear a classical orchestra (mostly the strings) in the background, which in itself was beautiful, BUT! The symbolic meaning behind it hit me like a truck. Classical music made the base for so many people to build off from and show their individuality so it made perfect sense for it to be in the background. I don't know if this resonated in the same way for other people
lot of music came from classic genre. rock, pop and many music's basic is classical. Think about the intrument itself. Heck even EDM's basic is the drums and stuff.
yeah, whenever I re-watch this scene and see the classical music trolls I get really emotional because I wonder if they represent that the founders of classical music have died - that's why they have wings, it's because they are angels. But then they see how far music has come hence the line; "beautiful!"
@@eldritchcupcakes3195 which in a way makes sense considering pop has a tendency to take elements of other genres, like rock, techno, and funk (I guess rap is considered either a form of pop or funk in this movie, because I don't remember it being mentioned).
I like to think this song is a friendly reminder that no music would exist without the other, country and rap go hand in hand, classical goes with everything, etc. We come together through music, always have, always will.
It's a beautiful scene but i wouldn't go that far. The ending act of both movies are the same. Protagonist trolls lose, they go grey, emotional Ballard saves the day and everyone learns joy/music has been inside you all along.
I really cannot pick what I love most about this scene. Cooper's heartbeat bringing music back. The classical troll saying "play play. Beautiful" Mary J Blige! Or Barbra Because that Mohawk was life!
If you don't get any goosebumps from any of this then you literally have no soul. I absolutely love the fact they mixed all genres of music at the end because it would've ruined an otherwise beautiful point about how all music matters X)

I’m glad that Barb changed her ways for the better. She listens to her dad advice by letting everyone be what they wanna be and she accepts everyone company. She learns her lesson and she realized she didn’t have to destroy all music and she accepts the tribe music at the end. All the trolls can live in harmony again. I wish this world in real life was like this by living in harmony. Not all people can’t live in harmony because something bad can happen and there are bad people and that’s why all people can’t live in harmony. After watching this movie, I will let some people live with me in harmony not all of them.

Agreed. Differences make a person unique, and combine those with others and you have a beat. People are so used to stereotyping wrongly, to assuming with no information, that they let it rule better judgement. We are all human. We are all one species of different blood, of different culture, of different ethnicity, of different background and ancestry. But in the end we are only same in one way: our species. The sooner people realize that being yourself isn't wrong, that how you look or where you come from doesn't matter, then the world can finally turn in the right way.
He has a bit of a blue pigment in his skin because he's still Branch, he's happy but not that happy. Tho it would have been nice to see him have the nice bright colors he had from the first movie when they started singing

This ending hit me hard i was about to tear up with the same thing as the first movie. And I can see me singing this song with my favorite K pop groups.
In real life the movie is about how hip hop started and when the funk trolls were talking about the strings they said the pop trolls took everything and that is what happened but with hip hop pop music took the credit and white radios and yeah pop just took it because pop is a mix of everything and they just took the credit and that why you saw all the strings in funk trolls song when they were playing the harp and then they took the strings and ran because pop was taking all the credit
I like that the funk guys are the first ones to re-create music. It kind of makes sense in a way. I can find its roots in more primitive type of music that our ancestors created
