@@maxiguppy It depends on how much you crop. If its only for the internet, then you can crop quite heavily, and it will still be O.K. . I will regularly crop for RUclips, slide shows and social media. You can still crop 1/3rd of the file size of an Olympus file and produce good quality A3 prints. I think there is a lot of rubbish talked about the need for having full frame, although thats only my opinion. Watch this video of Mike Lanes ruclips.net/video/dNj1mws2SGM/видео.html Its in two parts and you need to watch both. He has A3 prints made from a full frame Sony and the M4T OLympus, and the people cannot tell the difference.
@@rogerhance5883 thank you very much for fast response :). I follow Mike's Channel for some time already. But I remember Mike said in one of his videos he usually doesnt crop m43 :). I have a nikon system but for dslr (apsc). Since going mirrorless is changing a system anyways I seriously consider m43 as om1 seems to be great :).

Great sharing Roger. Love all the pictures.
By the way, are you using firmware 1.2 on the OM1? If yes, is there any difference from the previous firmware. Thank you.
Thanks Kris. To be honest, I have not updated the firmware yet so this is as I as it came. I have heard the latest firmware makes quite a difference. I will update in a day or so.
Excellent video Roger. What processing software do you use?.
Thanks Steve. I download to Lightroom and use that as a sorting programme , as well as a Raw converter. Once I have played around with the sliders in Lightroom, I import to Photoshop CC, and finish it off there. Usually cropping, adjusting levels, and and burning or dodging needed. I sometimes put the image through Topaz Ai if I have put the ISO up above ISO 2000.
What great images, proves that you don't require 50mp to get fantastic shots just know how to use your Camera, super stuff, Regards.
Thank very much Colin. I think there is a lot of rubbish talked about needing huge mp files. I can print to A3 and even A2 from Olympus files.
I like you Roger have been doing the same for years with throughly good results.
@@sanclewphotographic Result ! 😀
It is a tragedy in the SW with the appearance of avian flu. Dead and dying gannets and gulls turning up on beaches and even pavements and roads in towns.
Yes Ray, it really is tragic, and very worrying for the future.
