How very interesting. Taylor Owens (the female voice narrating this peice) will end up being the voice of the entire Sydney train network from the year 2000 taking over from Grant Goldman. I wonder if they knew then in 1995 Taylor was going to voice the Sydney network. Sooo interesting. 👌
Customer Service is the bottom line...over 25 C.E.O.'s in all three modes does not bode well for any security. Jobs or service. Phar Lap only had one trainer, Jockey( except a few rides,) and one Strapper, (Tommy Woodcock,) and they upheld a nation in the middle of the Great Depression. This was Pre-2000 Olympic stuff otherwise akin to the ruling LNP State government now the only thing that matters to them now is power and you can find your own way home...they have govt. cars and always seem to live close to work...hahahahahahahahahahahaha.
Sydney understands the importance of keeping an important mass transit system current and maintained to a high standard I'm very impressed however this is not replicated here in Melbourne were until now the labour gov is making the improvements. Cause for this systematic neglect
Those days when trains were better with style. Sadly I was 3 or 4 at the time so I couldn't experience it. R.I.P Len Harper CEO of State Rail Authority.
Looked like a very young and clean cut Alan Watson at 2.24 mark? He was last in a corporate "hidey-hole" at Penrith station around 2019...Good old railway corporate propaganda video, Joseph Goebels would be proud! Good rib tickler though, thanks SRA.
Voiceover is Taylor Owynns (annocer of Waratah A and B sets, and platform annocers)
Thanks for posting this. Can’t wait to see a new promotional video of Sydney Transport Corp Link in 2023. The least we could get is new livery.
Thank you so much for this, find it cool how the same person who does DVAs was also the narrator for this!

Sorry to hear about Len's death. I worked there at Central in those years and remember him well. Condolences to all. Peter Watts
