    With that many saws you can start your own haunted house next Halloween! Another must see video!! Thanks, Louie!

    I use an old Stihl 009,only run it once in a while for firewood, it likes the premix 50:1 fuel much better than garbage pump gas. Cheers from New Zealand mate!

      ya it does work better - but costs too much for production work unfortunately...

    I think those caps would drive me nuts. 😂

    I find that Sthil are really well balanced yet I feel the Husqs engines are more robust - I realize it depends on which model etc. Really would consider purchasing a Echo next time. Heck, I’ve owned Poulans and they were pretty good too. The Husq 390 sounded powerful and the 880 had a 250cc dirt bike motor I’m sure LOL thanks guys, love the content always, cheers.

      My Still 261c I love, but I like the construction of the huskys better - and little things like those caps .......hate those caps!

    Best starting saw I owned was a Husky 272XP. After the initial start in the morning it was mostly 1 pull starts for the rest of the day.

    That's quite the collection of saws. Almost as many saws as you have snowmobiles, lol.

      No I haven't tried it yet but might get one - one of my saws has to blow up first tho - I have a few too many im told....

    Great video thank you for sharing your saws with us. I wish RUclips would let me post a video but because I took off about 1-1/2 months without uploading they made it so I can’t upload videos. On your Alaskan sawmill is it set at a certain wood thickness to cut or can you adjust it to cut 1”,2”&3-4” cuts

      @rollingupmysleeves  2 года назад +1

      You can adjust them to whatever thickness you want...pretty slick!

      @@rollingupmysleeves great 👍🏻 I just know that sometimes setting up the sawmill for just a couple boards isn’t worth it

    I also start the chainsaw that way. I'd rather lose a finger than the nuts.

    I don't think your Echoes oiling on the bar it sounds a little dry

    You'll stay warm pulling on saws. Those Stihl caps are the worst. Some engineer must have been bored when he came up with these vs a regular threaded cap that's worked for ever. Just wait til the oil cap is loose and it all leaks down you pant leg as your carrying it. Don't ask me how I know. Would love to see a quick video of your solar kiln.

      Worst design ever..as luck would have it just after making that video I had to buck up some logs.....bar oil cap comes undone and pours it all over my leg and boot....for real!
