This bush / Tree is very well known in Southern Europe.. even in some gardens in the UK, as it..as you say. extremely adaptable. Its native home however is Australia . So typical of the real 'survivor ' needed to grown in those conditions. I have three in my garden here in Portugal. One remains fairly sparse with flowers as its in a shaded area. The structure I have create though shows off its unusual 'knobbly ' branches and weeping attitude. The other two are shipped into Lollipop trees and are covered in blooms every year. Sadly we do not have humming birds . but many other native birds feed off the nectar

I am wanting to plant several as a hedge. When can I plant them in Las Vegas? Can it be in the fall?
