Daybell is facing the death penalty for the murders of his first wife, Tammy Daybell, and Tylee Ryan, 17, and JJ Vallow, 7, the youngest children of his second wife, Lori Vallow Daybell. He is a self-published author and prosecutors have described him as the leader of a 'Doomsday' cult.

As a Mormon LDS they are indoctrinated from birth to keep secrets (sacred), and never expose themselves to information that is negative about the Mormon Church. There was a talk called 'Doubt your doubts' in General Conference by a top leader. They are well trained in Mormonism to never expose themselves to anything that is negative about Daddy the prophet.
I grew up Mormon and getting control over my mind took a decade. It's very angering to be born into a cult and not suspect that everyone around you is lying or deluded. We should all be able to sue the Mormon church for that $250 billion they have in their pocket right now. 🤬
