The 116710LN was introduced by Rolex in 2007. I purchased it that year, and still proudly have it. I had it serviced in 2014, and getting ready to have it serviced again. The watch still works well keeping excellent time, but I want it to stay that way and Rolex suggests servicing every 10 years. A plus is that when I get it back, it will look absolutely like new. I loved the watch in 2007, and still do in 2024. I purchased it new for $5,800 from a Rolex authorized dealer, and although the all black bezel is no longer available if I were to purchase a new Rolex GMT in the USA would cost $10,900.

ive just bought a rolex gmt ii I was between the submariner and gmt they had gmt in stock so that made my mind up for me and a 10 year old one is no cheaper a rolex is a good investment if you can afford one
At the very least have it water pressure tested. A full service will automatically come with that as part of the package, however unless the timing is off a simple water test and subsequent gasket replacement is a good first start

Buying and used one gmt ceramic, 116710, do you belive i can jump into the pool, should i service it first?? Any thoughts
