I see you have quite a catalog of videos not in English, but I really want to hear more of what you have to say. I recommend removing the sound from some of those other videos and doing a voice over to talk about what your doing in English. Please keep it up bro! How are you measuring or comparing power and action between rods?
For my own personal style, I’ve always liked rods between 6’6” and 7’1”…that’s just what feels *right* to me. Balance is paramount, too…I look for a balance point around the top of the handle…no higher than an inch or so above. It’s also difficult to fully discuss rods without the accompanying reels or reel weights. For example older NRXs tend to balance better with slightly heavier reels since that’s what they were designed alongside. Great balance and a good reel pairing…that’s the name of the game in my experience. That being said, the conquest 844c/metanium pairing is the greatest all around jig combo I’ve ever thrown with no close second. Ultimate sensitivity, great balance and the confidence needed to swing for the fences when necessary.
good info..only time i use the back end butt of the rod is for big salt water game fish... but light game i dont really use the back butt..on my expride BFS the back butt is nice for sensitivity feeling on my arm ..
Its easier for me to add an accessory to get my desired balance based on the application that im trying to achieve than have a heavier rod that will tire out my damaged arms & hands due to the work related injuries I incurred. Ive tested this out myself when I had a heavier balanced rod vs my Ajing rod where I can only hold the heavier balance rod for so long till my arms & hands getting sore vs my very light Ajing rod that I barely feel anything despite being tip heavy. Plus I never had an issue not being able to catch fish on an unbalanced rod. Its all about how I use my tools that what matters more Case and point I have an old man fish beside me with a makeshift fishing pole made of a wooden stick and a spool on his other hand. He was easily casting his rig and outfishing me based on his experience of using that setup. What works for you may not work for others since everyone has their own style by the end of the day. But I also dont discount the stuff you mentioned on this vid

Wish almost every rod was short butt - long handles for me are only usable for fighting the biggest of fish. I miss where so many rods were pistol grip style. Basically no freshwater fishing save for giant catfish or biggest lake trout and biggest pikes and musky ever need a long butt.
In the world of Swimbait fishing rod handle length is probably more important than working length. And it’s not about balance. The longer the handle the more leverage you have when casting very heavy lures up to a pound sometimes. Most Swimbait rod handles are extremely long.
I still prefer a lighter rod. In most cases this tells you about the quality in carbon and technology used in the blank of the rods. Compare a $100 rod vs $650 rod. The blank is significantly lighter. Comparing at the same price level like $100 vs $100, a lighter $100 rod does tell the difference in overall build of materials used not just blank, but reel seat, guides, amount of paint, etc. I get there's rod manufactures that just add random things that may increase weight. For example, some Megabass rods costing $500+ add metal for looks and for premium/luxury feel. Rods like NRX+ is all about performance, a lot lighter and more sensitive than most rods in the category yet doesn't balance as well as you stated. Though, I can always add counterweights at the butt end, which it's easier to do than removing weight from a rod.
I love Loomis rods, NRX, NRX+, old GLX, old spinnerbait/crankbait series. They make up half of my rod arsenal. The other half is Megabass lol The old Loomis are balanced very well (but also not many long models to choose), NRX series tend to have a lot longer models and that likely contributed to some of the off-balance but overall it's not unacceptable at all, after paring with the right reels it usually performs super well. Megabass rods does pay a lot of attention to detail in decoration, I personally love them because of the unmistaken functionality over appearance, I found Loomis and Megabass compensate each other in providing a full spectrum of rods to use for me. BTW, they don't cost that much nowadays. One NRX+ = 2 P5. Think at that price range it's hard to beat.

On a tangent note : My two Washas 1704 R2 limited blue and super red are superior to MBs ; I like the daiwa King Viper 6'9 mh also it's 110 grams only and can handle the Balam 245 ! 😂 Rated at 3 oz . I have Designo Wraith Foxy setup with the Excense DC waiting to try this weekend ..AND am waiting on the titanium? MB White Python to arrive . So what am I trying to say again? Umm in possession of a surfeit of JDM products due to avarice and addiction , i need help😂..oh the Raid Japan Gladiators are works of art also btw

Sometimes i alter the length of my rod between a car door or when holding the rod tip in a sharp angle. 😅😅 It sure helps about being tip-heavy 😊😊

Agree, this way moves the fulcrum which is the front hand forward. Perhaps another form of dynamic balance IMO.

Depends on what year model that is. Scorpion series is essential Hajime Murata's signature series, but more to the old school bass rod style.

JACKALL does a good job in marking precisely their handle length as well lol it is indeed needed IMO
short handles are not comfortable they are stupid .
Old school rods were meant for single handed casting, definitely has ergonomic challenges when fighting big fish or when using certain techniques.
