It makes a lot of sense to make the cheese sauce first for the macaroni and cheese. I personally have never tried doing it that way before, but I will now. As for adding sliced American cheese cheese to it, I've been doing that for decades! Boxed mac and cheese does need that extra bit of cheesiness, in my opinion. 😋

Great video! The shrimp looked really good. I also add a slice of cheese to boxed macaroni and cheese, and love Mandy’s green bean recipe. I got the ingredients to make the pollo loco she made recently from Kroger today.
Hi Maegan. I really enjoyed this video. I don’t like shrimp but your shrimp dish looked delicious. The acidity was probably the combination of the tomato and the artichoke. I haven’t bought boxed macaroni and cheese in a long time but I’m using that hack the next time I do. Tamara and Mandy are two of my favorite RUclipsrs.
