This is what I love about Korean. They preserve their culture even in modern day like this in simplest thing.
My country is rich of culture, but the people just move on to modern and western culture and forget their culture already.

Gukbap is that thing that makes a Korean feel fuzzy inside. Especially when you combine them in the pot and boil them together for a minute and it's burn your mouth hot!! With a side of soondae! Omg......thats like best thing on a frigid day!!! And after, you have yujacha and sit on a heating mat with a thick Korean blanket with jwipo, and cookies, and sweets and watch dramas all day long while the snow falls!!!!

Also: PERFECT after a night out when you've had too much to drink and the next day it washes away all of your bad decisions and just feels like a knot in your stomach just is washed down

Did she 'toreyom' the soup? Like, filling the bowl and then pouring the soup out again and again to make the ingredients fill with oxygen - thus, the soup will taste better :)

We put hot water and side dishes in cool rice , or various soup like chicken soup into rice ,then eat it . That is so popular in Jiangnan , China

Most of korean foods are lightly seasoned foods and most of them are boiled rather than fried.

Very late to reply but yes what you said is right. The lady said it's on the 5th, 10th, 15th, 20th and 25th of every month which is every 5 days.

ENTERTAINMENT. KOR. SUBJECT: ARIRANG TV HANSIK OF THE DAY (EP. 6) GUKBAP (GUGBAB) FULL EPISODE (20161125) 202010270621T

EXCELLENT! I LIKED THE DRONE FOOTAGE, HISTORY, AND INTERVIEWS WITH LOCALS.
AT 15:52, I LIKE THE SEOUL AND GANGWON DO VERSIONS OF BEEF AND MOUNTAIN GREENS, RESPECTIVELY. AS A CHRISTIAN, I DON'T EAT BLOOD. ALSO, I CHOOSE NOT TO EAT PORK OR SHELL FISH.
LAST WEEK, I MADE MY LAMB BONE GUGBAB WITH LEFT OVERS: INDIAN CURRY PASTE, LAMB WITH BONES, ONIONS, POTATOES, SALT, SOYBEAN PASTE, AND UNUSED TOMATO PASTA SAUCE. ALSO, MY CARBOHYDRATES WERE LEFTOVERS: BREAD, MASH POTATO POWDER, NOODLES, OR RICE. I ADDED VEGETABLE OIL. IT WAS DELICIOUS! THE MEAT WAS VERY TENDER. I STORED THE EXTRA IN MY FREEZER.
