    I was hearing the 1st 51e DA21 mm throw vibrated after an hour of run time. Was that fixed on the new 31e❤

    • @SkyCarCare
      @SkyCarCare  3 месяца назад

      I am not sure of that since I haven't used one for an hour straight but it is a completely new machine so I suspect if they had issues with some of the 51's that would have been solved. According to Tim, this machine was upgraded based on correcting any complaints anyone had with any of the previous machines. 🤗

    Is the motor on this brushless. I like the 3 in 1. Hopefully. all 3 of these orbits work very well!

      Wow! I am really surprised that more mfg these days do not add brushless motors into their devices. Brushless motors have been around for some time. They are more efficient not that much expensive especially these days where the cost has gone down quite a bit and not that much more than a brushed motor. it would allow them to not have to worry about adding extra heat and or extra anti vibration materials /features. Plus it would also benefit the end user! Not having all of the vibration being transferred through their hands and arms as a result of less vibration.
      Especially when mfgs know that professional detailers who use these polishers for hours a day. I can tell you that you would sell a lot more units just by adding a brushless motor to your Rotary or DA polisher. Less weight, vibration and heat are all major benefits! Rupes finally added one to there new DA's . Why not Lake Country?

      @@btbd2785 I think all of RUPES corded machines do in fact use brushes. The new RUPES machines are DC motors and cost over 750$ so I think it is apples and oranges or AC and DC as it were.

      @SkyCarCare
      yes, but don't forget that's a completely new polisher. A lot of R&D and new types of materials went into these new model as well. When you look at the price in general of rupes machines example their Mark 3 models, they were up there and still up there in price. Those don't have brushless motors. What I am saying is brushless motors are not expensive like they used to be. In fact, more and more companies are using them, even companies who make very good polishers or even lower end polishers. For example, Shinemate and even SPTA are using them. It just makes sense, especially the issue with vibration.Overtime. overtime that does a lot of damage to us detailers, etc..
      That's all I wanted to mention

    What were the reasons the 5 in 1 never caught on in the industry? Seemed like a brilliant idea.

    • @SkyCarCare
      @SkyCarCare  8 месяцев назад +2

      Price & Weight were the two largest factors. So they have come back with this new unit and dropped over a pound from it as well as knocking the price a couple hundred dollars lower than their first gen machine. In order to do those things, they needed to remove a couple of the functions leaving it with THREE instead of 5. Rotary, 8mm throw, and 15mm throw. I love to see original ideas from great companies so I hope it is successful!

    I don’t think this will get any attention with the new Rupes coming out.

    • @SkyCarCare
      @SkyCarCare  8 месяцев назад +2

      Thats possible as RUPES does have a HUGE focus on marketing and has made a very attractive looking machine. However, I think there is room for both since this machine is quite different in its actual functions than anything else. Fortunately Sky's the Limit is a proud retailer of both brands.
