OH, so you're _not_ a fan of hard magic, complex character progression, or genius that transcends the genre I see? I'll give you a hint: real people don't always make the same choices if they're pushed hard enough. Now touch it again and give it 5 Stars or the Suess Loyalists will fix you!
@@ManCarryingThing Afaik Brian Sandersman has been known to assassinate 5 star reviewers so they don't change their minds later, scary guy. Literally Einstein though, like, basically changed my understanding of the whole world.
I always felt like he could have tried the green eggs and ham a little sooner in the last 1/4 so the ending didn’t seem so rushed. Still waiting on the sequel….Sam-I-Am becomes a drug dealer
I feel bad for rating a book I really liked 4 stars, because I'm bringing down the average. But 4/5 is a really good rating. 5/5 means the book was perfect and very few books even get close to perfect.
I've seen so many reviews like this and probably have written some myself. lol. I loved this book, it blew me away, killed me, and brought me back to life. I'll give it 2.75 stars because I don't like the name Frank.
Great video, really sharp satire and humorous portrayal of what we see and perhaps even participate in a lot as book readers. You are able to concisely encapsulate so many ideas and thoughts I have had subconsciously, and bring them to the forefront beautifully. Unsubscribed
"I just got done reading (insert book here) and I am absolutely speechless, I have no words." *Proceeds to put my feelings in a novel's length of words*
Y'know, Theodor Geisel actually took a lot of inspiration from The Stand in his works, it's what inspired him to write gray characters in such bleak worlds.
Sam's dogged insistence to force the experience of the green eggs and the ham upon his unwilling victim was a harsh lesson on consent and what it means to say "no" in today's society. Sam I Am's toxic behavior is inexcusable, and the fact that Guy Am I ended up enjoying the green eggs and the ham was a horrifying look at the way breaches of consent can be justified by some victims whose experiences are then used to perpetuate the cycle. Truly a work of modern art, 3/5 stars.
I mean, this video... Wow, I can't explain it. It's life changing! I'm literally dead. I had high expectations but they were exceeded. Highly recommend. 3/5 stars
I saw the title and scoffed thinking "no way he'll find any real patterns this will all be made up" and then I watched the video and felt ashamed for underestimating you forgive me pls
For real though XD I was never a fan of how people review on Goodreads. I don't have the app or anything, so I just go on the website to see what people think about a book I'm fixing to read. But then they talk about how "so and so recommended this to me," say a bunch of stuff that doesn't help, use stupid memes. Then halfway through their review, they finally start telling me what I want to know about the book.
Ha, ha! This is why I never got into Goodreads. Some rarer specimen that could take a meme: - Reviews with a link to a blog no one cares about (especially the "Read the full review here"-variety) - "Reviews" that mainly consist of longwinded ranting about the reviewer's life experiences or opinions on some, at best, barely related issue or incident - Reviews that make some comparison or analogy that is probably supposed to be edgy or witty, but is really just forced and inaccurate - Reviews that apply some cranky literary theory the reviewer came up with to the work in question Not that any of these are mutually exclusive.
This is an amazing video. It surpass all expectations I have in life. It literally change my life forever. I can't imagine a life without this video. It so amazing I die and came back and die again. Oh what I rate it? 2.5/10 star for sure

It's impossible to find anything that's not rated 4.5 stars these days
I lot of my favorite sci-fi books are at like 3.8.
Maybe because all of these books find their niche or are published for a specific group it's always so high?
If a mainstream book is below 4 stars you know it's really bad.
I'm someone who's usually pretty generous with ratings. Unless I absolutely hated a book I'll probably give you a 3 at worst
