When I was in HS, half the school was Gen Z and half was Millenial. We didn't know that of course. The labels hadn't been forced yet. I also know a lot of people who's family is split, with siblings born in 94 96 and 98. They definitely don't care about that label. I doubt they'd say "I relate with a kid born in 2004 over my brother because he's a zoomer." That would just be silly. And in my friend group, we're all in our 20s, but half the group is GenZ. A lot of ribbing goes around on that 😂

You won't get them back, this goes to all the young people who think they'll live forever!! Take care of the important things!

Imagine toxicating in a simple roblox game, saying "He won the battle, but i won the war" for someone who's beating u in a "mobile game".. where's the war ?, saying "dont be dissapointing like the rest of the guys" in dating app, some movie expectation where guys have to ur pleaser to have u, rather than being themselves. Many many examples, wish the best for them. the word "gen Z" being used in media is more for "common behaviour" not the whole generation.
I’m born in 95 and I do not knock on doors and haven’t for years. I prefer a text message rather than a knock on the door. Because now I associate a knock on the door as a mystery person/ uninvited stranger If someone I know is coming they would text me or call because they have my number.
1999er here, if you wanted your friend to come outside before iPhones. You had to knock on their door. I always had the best conversations with the parents of my friends and made connections. Even after the iPhone became popular, I never was on it until 2014 and would still knock on the door. Being told “she’s not here today honey, she is at ballet” or being told that they were busy. Helped me learn how to deal with social rejection in a healthy way. I kinda miss calling on the landline and asking for my friend. It was always nerve racking but definitely worth it lol 😂
