- It was low tide, so this clam decided to hide underground. It tried to dig its way through the moist sand and made some weird noises while doing so.

Today I learned that every time you take a refreshing stroll along the beach, you're likely walking in sand that a clam shat out.

I always wondered why it was so much darker by the shore. Here I thought it was just water.
And soon enough, another clam will happen along, and dig in that same sand. Then we'll have an infinite cycle of clams digging and shating.

When my boys were young they bought a clam home from a nearby creek and put it in our aquarium. It even learned when feeding time was and would partially come out of the shell when the lid creaked on the aquarium. It lived for about 5 years.

The human body has to adjust to this, and would only reject it for many years. A clam is just flesh. Clean it, cook it, eat it. You have to squeeze the liquid from the cow, and along with it comes a billion things. It's then put in a box to sit there for weeks if not months so you can drink it. Milk is objectively more gross, and the only reason you don't think so is because it's more common for people to drink it than eat clams (generally).
