It's such a good song. I can listen to it on hours on end. And I did. Went to India, 12 hour flight, listened to it 5 hours straight. It reminds me of when my gf left me. It was a bad relationship and she was too demanding. She's a teen model but I did everything for her. Her friends harass me and they're at the top of the food chain at school and they make sure I suffer. I cut and bleed and I cry because I always agreed with her always apologizing for stuff I didn't do but it didn't work. You can't have a relationship with yourself and now I'm just empty
I pictured somebody.. lost in their own darkness. in their own mind. going for a drive. anywhere. past highways, oceans, anywhere besides home. gazing out the window. remembering their past and feeling the cold chill of autumn against their face. with no one there to listen to them. they are truly trapped inside their own mind. the person rolls down the window of the car, leans back and breathes in the cold air. they light a cigarette. and realize, they truly are alone. with only the smell of the autumn air.. everyone is gone.. the past means nothing now that the future is here. no one cares. the person gazes out the window to the lilac sky. who am I? and what am I doing here...
