It's back to normal now...of course, by normal you mean how it was when you first got into it. Your normal is what older fans complained about, because they liked it better when it was just Rhett and Link and a camera guy, nothing more. They just talked, no silly games or anything. That was normal to them, just as last season's format was normal to someone who had just gotten into the show.
People really need to understand that their preferences are completely subjective, and there is no "normal" here.
I demand to know what was in the safe they both lost, my curiosity needs to be satisfied.

Tyger Well I think the camera switching takes up time so the time where we got to see Rhett and Link actually react to everything was cut down, so you are missing out. I really enjoy LTAT but the camera switching is a bit unconventional.

Everybody saying that they miss when GMM was just them telling stories should totally listen to Ear Biscuits! Every episode is them answering questions and relating it to their own lives and stories, or just them talking about recent experiences. It’s awesome! Then you can enjoy these GMM episodes for all the fun and silliness (and vomiting lol). It’s the best of both.

Ryan Borquez as their viewership grows they have to try new things. People have said they want to see more of her so of course they’re going to put her in. They try new things constantly. It reminds me of back in the day when Howard stern started featuring robin more because people liked her a lot. You might be too young to get that reference. They change things to suit their audience. As the audience has grown and changed they also changed the way the talk and the jokes they make. You can’t be “on air” for ten years and still do the same thing all the time.

I see no issue with what they’re doing. I know they did it because people wanted to see Stevie. They have a young female audience that loves her for being a lesbian because we need more lesbian representation. Look back on older videos where she’s involved and you’ll see that there is a call for more Stevie on camera. They’re doing just fine and showing us lots of dynamic shots and you don’t get bored when you get to see Stevie speaking. I did enjoy seeing their reactions as she described things and spoke but people said they wanted to see her.

As I'm sure you've noticed from the rest of the comments, this was an amazing idea of an episode but so much was missed out on due to little changes. Allowing the viewers to see more of the reaction that R&L have to trying to eat the gross stuff would have been great. Usually that's something you capitalize on because it's the main reason most of us are watching this lol not sure why they kept getting cut short. Also, even though the majority of the viewers love Stevie (albeit some a little toooo much to the point it's creepy) the constant cam switches don't do her or the show any favors and is rather distracting. We want her to be a more prominent part of the show, just perhaps not in this way, Thought I would add my contribution to the feedback, thanks for creating amazing content!

Guys Stevie is great in LTAT, but the cutting to Stevie in this is weird, the background isn't setup well not to mention we see the sides of the other crew like it's some kind of panel, it seems like the camera is just plopped in front of where she usually is. Maybe a little box in the corner for Stevie if she must be shown? But not the full cuts.

MisterLunario Agreed, half the people in the comments are just saying "But she's cute" as if that's a reason to keep awkwardly cutting back and forth. Also, the time where we actually get to see Rhett and Link react to food was cut down pretty dramatically, which could be explained by the akward unreasonable cuts taking up time.

I’m agreeing with most people here - not a fan of the camera switch at all. Distracts from the hosts and completely changes the feel. I prefer when it was just Rhett and Link reading the questions, but I’m fine with Stevie reading off the questions too. But the camera switch isn’t doing it for me.
Makes me wonder what change is next! Although on another note, I’m very happy with the return to “one episode a day” for this season! I thought I was done with GMM when i stopped watching after the start of season 13, but this has been a good start to season 14. Rhett and Link both seem happier and less exhausted. I hope they are still enjoying themselves with GMM, and I see a return of that spark in these first few episodes.

Almost 15 minute video for the first section of the show. Something needs to go in order for it all to fit in enough time to eat breakfast and go on with the day. I would've liked to see the extended cut or something

Maybe they had lackluster reactions. Sometimes they don't really bring their A game. They go through little spurts where they're not trying to be entertaining and they're just trying to get it over with. Kind of unprofessional, but I get that it has to get old for them sometimes. But still, it's always disappointing when they're not having fun with it.
