I've always thought George had the toughest job on their 3 part harmonies. His lines are usually wedged between the strong vocals of John & Paul, and rarely resemble the melody or any obvious harmonies. You can't pick it out of their blended voices very easily because of that. But you've done it! Thanks!
EXQUISIT DISSECTION of Beatles songs ! I m 52 and only now, due to you, I understand WHAT was giving me the Beatles thrills at age 20 !!! Grazie Galeazzo ! Bravissimo !
I’ve always heard 3 voices when they sing “I’ll remember”, but now I now that is only John and Paul singing that part 😱🤯 That’s my favorite Beatles’ song. Amazing! Thank you very much. Congratulations. You’re amazing
Yes ! that is a very significant detail about John's voice. He used many techniques, styles, different voice tones. I listen to many Lennon impersonators and they always use the same tone all the time. You can hear his voice on the album Please, please, me, and then on Rubber Soul or Pepper, it's totally different. John and Paul used so many "colors" when they recorded those albums, they deserve an examination and an intense vocal work to reproduce them correctly. Good job Galeazzo.
Jon Killings he did do a good job, it’s just that he sung like he was singing another one of his pop songs. He did sound good when he sang the actual line “in my life”.
Love his videos. They really show how it takes harmony to sing beatle's songs. The Beatles harmonies melt together so well it is difficult for me to hear the separate parts. So thanks again.
You have a beautiful voice and a discerning ear that few have been born with! You are an exceptionally talented individual! Thanks for sharing with all of us! 💕
Oh, my god, oh my god ... Thank you! This is just fantastic! I used to play John's part in a Beatles cover band in high school in the late 60's in Japan. I loved it. Now, with your video, I can learn other parts and create the whole harmony all by myself, using GarageBand. Thank you, I am so excited.
Where they added one and where they added two harmonies was eventually done to perfection, however there were some earlier songs in which they could have added at least one part but didn't. The bridge in I Should Have Known Better cries out for Paul's harmony IMO.
Galeazzo, a thousand once agains, you lay out an amazing ten course supper, pointing out every spice, every ingredient and even how the creator brought it all together. Your band mates are spot on. Thank you
Such an excellent tutorial! Helps me understand the genius of the Beatles vocal arrangements, and yes George was always sandwiched between John and Paul. (George is my favorite Beatle).
Did I get you right that John sings the high harmonies on "In my life" ? You are SO right , the phrasing and dynamics of John in this song is just without parallel. I'd say EXCELLENT job , but I wouldnt be expressing how impressed (and emotionally touched) I was
You are awesome Galeazzo. Very explicit explanations, and well performed with your voice and techniques. I am a very dedicated follower of your tutorials. Just perfect and accurate. Congratulations once again.👍
What I do is I listen and listen over and over. In the beginning I see this like a very pixeled fog.. you know old analogic TVs when they were not tuned to a program... then bit of a bit I start distinguishing the various vocals as sort of... coloured threads.. or tubes that appears solid through the fog and I can follow them. It's exactly like this.
Rubber Soul is one of my favorite Beatle Albums. And my life is one of the best songs, if not the best song on that album. Great job Galeazzo. Thank You....
Really damn brilliant!!! Thanks. Breaks down the parts so well and reveals some of the intricacies in John's part especially. Dig the cat in the background! Well done.
Cat's sleeping almost all the time due record, but George's vocal woke it up. That's why it's said that George was the soul of Beatles ... ))) bravo ! I like your videos )
Siempre me han entusiasmado las harmonías de voces de John, Paul y George, supongo que Ringo no intervenía casi nunca, gracias , con tu trabajo disfruto más las canciones de mis queridos Beatles.
Thank you so much for doing these! I am a music student who loves the Beatles and figuring out harmonies is something I have always struggled with. These are great :)
I have always been amazed how "accents" disapear when people sing- - even the Beatles- - -do you know why? Great vocals on all you vids. Again, have you ever put any of these in you own language? Italian (I assume) should be absolutely beautiful, especially, I would think for this love song!
Thank you for making this video! I was trying to figure out the vocal harmony but wasn't sure about some of the tones. In fact I could barely make out George's voice. You singing out the notes helped me hear it much more clearly and I have to say you are spot on. Thank you so much!
there are lots of Beatles songs that i love and then others really, really love, which this one's part of it! this is such a special song thanks for making thus vid i came to see how the vocal harmonies made this piece remarkable even more aside from its heartfelt lyrics
Amazing tutorials! This one in particular actually inspired me to pick apart the piano solo in this same song and break it down in a similar way to what you do. Feel free to check it out if you feel like it, or don't if you don't. I just wanted to let you know that all your hard work is inspiring others to push their ears too, so thanks.
Gale, great tutorial! I also found this isolated ¨a capella¨ version of the isolated voices, of The Beatles singing this song, @ ¨The Beatles In my Life A Capella¨
The most beautiful song of John Lennon. Only John can write a ballad that touch my soul. It only runs for 1min 20secs. What a god given talent. We miss you John.
Thanks for posting these videos, they are really helpful (plus, you're doing many pieces from my two favorite Beatles albums, Revolver and Rubber Soul).
Totally agree with you: a Lennon vocal "master piece", I really love this song and John´s vocal perfomance and feeling (sort a "chiken skin" on me when I hear or sing this wonderfull song!, ha!)
I could listen a 3 hour documentary you'd made commenting Beatles' songs like this. You have awesome kills when it comes to singing as well, please release your talent, I can't wait to watch all your videos and learn them by heart :D

true true true, but its almost the most brilliant part
John 3:08
Paul 3:51
George 4:35
Great work. I'm 58 and my appreciation for the Beatles continues to grow. Thanks!
Great vocal range and clarity - probably have perfect pitch, too. Excellent video.

We would not listen to the Beatles the same way again. You made us appreciate Beatles' songs more than before. Thank you very much!
Dude , you take it all by ear ? Congratulations .
Filipe Pessoa Yes thank you!
@@TheBeatlesVocalHarmonyGrazie Mille paesano!
Perfect ... I always thought George's harmony was the tough one to get ... thanks.
Ed Sheeran should have watched this before doing his rendition on national television.
Jon Killings he did do a good job, it’s just that he sung like he was singing another one of his pop songs. He did sound good when he sang the actual line “in my life”.
His version is amazing
es sheeran version suxxxx
Allen Walker you think so? I was very positively surprised by it. :)
To be fair to Ed, he is a solo artist, not a band.
Just noticed your black and white kitty photobomb. She must be used to lots of music in her home!
As always, so insightful!
your technical appreciation of, and insight into, these vocals is both distinctly Italian and completely relatable.
Love his videos. They really show how it takes harmony to sing beatle's songs. The Beatles harmonies melt together so well it is difficult for me to hear the separate parts. So thanks again.

I always have so much trouble picking out the middle harmony (which is usually George's). These videos are very helpful, many thanks!

A gem of a song, one of the Beatles best, if not the best. Molto Grazie for this tutorial.
Siempre me han entusiasmado las harmonías de voces de John, Paul y George, supongo que Ringo no intervenía casi nunca, gracias , con tu trabajo disfruto más las canciones de mis queridos Beatles.
in watching some of these videos, im noticing how hard a lot of George's vocals are to pick up, his singing is underrated
Thank you so much for doing these! I am a music student who loves the Beatles and figuring out harmonies is something I have always struggled with. These are great :)

My favorite song of all songs I have ever heard "in my life".
This song is one reason many people feel "Rubbeer Soul" was the best Beatles album.
Listened again. You are a really tallented guy. Great vids. Good fortune to you.
Thank you for making this video! I was trying to figure out the vocal harmony but wasn't sure about some of the tones. In fact I could barely make out George's voice.
