Can’t wait to see what happens in All Stars.
Wait I actually just thought of something about Tom’s elimination. When Fiore tells Tom that they voted for Jake, why does Tom not think through their logic? If Fiore tells them the right target, that nullifies the votes in their alliances and means that Fiore would have gone home if they truly did vote for Jake and Tom used his idol. Tom should have known that whatever name they blurted out would have been the person they didn’t vote for, otherwise Tom and Miriam’s vote should have sent her home. Knowing this, he should have used the idol on himself knowing that they are trying to get him to use his idol wrong because they were in serious threat to go home.

Six episodes later, Aiden chokes Nina with a lemon and while Marcus was getting medicine for Kristal that episode, nothing happens the next day to Aiden. Regardless, I am puzzled with Aiden’s actions and voting throughout the season, but I don’t want to take up space for my other comments. 10th/Tie: Tess - Nothing to say. Perfectly wholesome elimination and going out with her head held high. 10th/Tie: Gabby - The exposure of the trio of evil and the Gabby and Ellie kiss were the two key points of this elimination. Nothing more, nothing less. 9th: Fiore - Nice Beta reference, but it would’ve been better if Fiore lost her hair like Ellie did. 8th: Ashley and Lill: The scout leader and the cowgirl tried to warn Ellie, but came too little, too late as the duo were blindsided by Gabby and Ellie. 7th: Grett and Ellie’s “Elimination” - ONC just loves to watch us lose our minds by trolling us with another fake out elimination. I could understand the hesitation if Fiore said, “Actually, maybe we voted for you, Tom. Who will you save? Jake or yourself?” 2nd: Rosa - A unbelievable elimination and a total blindside by Riya. Rosa ate during her send off speech to Riya. I would’ve like to have seen Riya win the finale, only to see the consequences of her actions. How she is all alone, almost killed someone on international TV, and no one will hire her for a job. 1st: Yul - Yul gets his just desserts. After all his bullying and manipulation, he gets tricked and poisoned by James. I hope Yul becomes a main antagonist in All Stars so we can see the chaos he’ll bring.
Speaking of Lake's elimination, the fact that Lake, Riya and Rosa voted against James is revealed from the viewer's perspective, but how would Karol know that someone was going to vote against him? The only people who talked to her about voting were Ally and Hunter and they suggested voting against Lake, so why would Karol blindly vote against James every time when she could vote with Ally and Hunter this time to show them her loyalty and offer to eliminate James next time?
The most tragic part of the show is how Riya could've taken out James during Rosa's elimination by letting her keep the totem and then they still could've voted Hunter out on the next challenge, and on the final she would've won against Rosa and Aiden

From my point of view, the elimination of Tom is the worst of the franchise, not because of the elimination of the character, but because of the way in which they execute it, the writers practically threw Jake's development in the trash to put him against Tom, the way Jake believed Ellie so immediately was so incoherent, Jake must have realized through common sense that Ellie's story didn't add up, because if it were true, Tom would have abandoned him in the middle of the apocalypse to reunite with his true couple when they both thought the show and civilization were over, there is a very obvious difference between being insecure and being mentally subnormal, I just hope the writers do justice to Jake in All Stars
I don't think they'll do him justice just by the intro alone. Tom simply helps another guy stand up and Jake gets jealous. I'll be actually impressed if they do Jake actual justice and not make him a sponge for drama because the plot demands it again. But after he did the same mistake twice and looks like he won't learn again, the chances of that are little.
