my father was an infantryman of the 5 1st division usaffe deployed in Mt. natib during the siege of bataan for his effort got a purple heart and later the legislated congressional medal of honor, an uncle never made it and was honored with a concrete cross like any of those unknown soldiers in a place in the libingan ng mga bayani in taguig city, manilla his was number 147, now all removed to accommodate the fake hero Ferdinand Marcos sr....

My dad, Paul Kerchum was on the Bataan Death March and a Japanese POW for 3 1/2 years…. He is 102 years old…he’s on RUclips…

Just imagine having to swim for "5" hours. Let alone hanging on to a piece of board. Divine providence was with them for sure.
