My name is Kian (21), I have a quirky sense of humour, and my favourite organ is the kidney (who makes regular appearances in my videos).
Should all things go according to plan I will be graduating with my MD come 2022! My goal with this channel is to share the RAW and REALISTIC parts of being a medical student through my personal experience to better inform people who are interested in medical school...or at least make you smile

Thanks for sharing both the highlights and hardships regarding the medical field, or just in general the extreme struggles of being a student pursing a career within it. 🧀🧀🧀cheeeeese. thanks for sharing the difficult times you have experienced this week. I experienced this in nursing school and can definitely relate! look up "moral distress" - in this case, it's outlined by how you wish you could help the patient but there's nothing within your scope/role to do so. It's something that most health care professionals experience and is usually caused by system and resource constraints. you eventually learn to cope but it is not a pleasant feeling!

I had that moments too. With your position right now, patient is your textbook. We clerked them for learning purpose and in preparation to become a good doctor, maybe offered some support and our condolence but at the end of the day, we can't really offer nothing much aside from that and we still had to go through this process again and again. But all in all, all those emotions is part of our mundane features. Hopefully, in future we'll become a good doctor and can contribute more towards the people who look up to us. Stay strong there!
