Just moved to Fresno from Orange County a couple of years ago. I am so fascinated with the area especially downtown Fresno. I can see the remnants of amazing old world architecture, and a way of life that is completely gone now I see so much potential here in Fresno. I just wish we could make our community great again.
I just moved back to Los Angeles from Fresno and I already miss it. Hope I could save enough money to open a business and move back. Fresno California is different from any other cities in California.
Wow this is such an amazing video I was looking for something like this. Im from fresno and have seen many photos from the early 1940s and always wondered where exactly those places were located before they were taken down for new buildings.
Has this been completed yet? I love a lot of those old photos of Fresno. I remember the in the 70's when I was a kid and looked at the book As Pop Saw It I was totally transfixed. It was like Wow, Fresno looked like this? Too bad a lot of that is gone. I like the old Fulton Mall photos I've seen on Flickr. Before it was torn up in 1964. Those photos were way cool I thought. Oh, well.
Truly saddening to see works of art demolished for the cookie cutter copy and paste square blocks we have today. I mean I understand, there are safety hazards and capacity issues but there’s something deeper in appreciation for the past that “new, modern, or sleek” designs can’t deliver.
Unfortunately it doesn't matter what town committee it is people do not respect what came before them lot of people young thing new is better that maybe the case in some areas but not always it would be nice if they kept a lot of these buildings but for whatever reason they're gone there are so so old buildings let's in Fresno from that time. Not many I live in Fresno for almost 10 years and I love the city and I do love the old buildings the history is a true sad that they cannot appreciate what they have
Dude look it, back then everything was constructed with quality by skilled people who were apprentices for years. Now if your daddy had money, you can get any job u want with no skill. Those people create shit quality and are trashing this world. It’s only going to get worse.

Can we find more pictures of the Fresno County general hospital?
It’s too bad that they tore down that beautiful courthouse and put in that huge pile of junk worst decision ever
Great work
