There’s some people that make excuses why the car is always dirty I call it being lazy
Used to fill them top mounts with clear grease when the cars was in for pdi saved alot of hassle later on in the years

I have a ford fusion and the first time i ever had to change a front spring i couldn't get the top nut off because it had rotted that bad it was round so i had to change the lot (shocker, spring and top mount) then cut the spring off and cut the shocker ram to get the bump stop and boot off then when i put it all back together i filler the top nut up with copper slip then i put 2 big rubber grommets over the holes so water wouldn't get in.

Aww a remember when a nearly cut ma finger fully off as well was only only on by a bit of flesh n a small bit of bone had to get it pinned n screwed back to together that was 4 n half year ago and it's still a stump 😆 lol
