LowGlow Install | ModFusion

Welcome back to the channel, we installed the LowGlow under glow on the civic. We bought a LED kit from LowGlow, which came with 6 LED light strips and the wire harness to connect to the battery and button to the inside of the vehicle and four extensions to connect the strips together. Two 24” light strips for the back, two 72” light strips one for each side, and two 36” light strips for the front. We had to test out the LED strips first then clean with car soap the underside areas where we were planning to install the strips. We started installing the light strips in the back of the civic. Then the challenge was how to connect the back strips to the sides and the side strips to the front without crossing moving parts. I decided to go over the heat shield then the rear wheel dust cover to connect the back strips to the sides. To help pass the extension over the rear wheel cover I lifted the vehicle. Then I took the side strips over the front wheel cover to connect to the front strips. Once we had all lights connected together I had to modify the bumper by cutting a small whole on the underside to pass the cables to connect them to the wire harness that goes to the battery and button. To pass the button through the fire wall I used an existing grommet but I had to remove the battery to get access to the grommet.
