Its famously said, its much easier to start a love affair, just like any speech, but very hard to conclude. Kya Tum Khuda Ho Rahe Ho is the Ghazal penned down by Nauushad Muntazir showing that same effect. How a lover starts to maintain distance with an attempt so that his/ her partner either not recognises it or if recognises, he/ she only remains confused.
My favourite sher of this ghazal is
Bade hi aahista aur adab se tum juda ho rahe ho;
Dil mei ho magar mukhatib nahi kya khuda ho rahe ho.
Yu to mohabbat ki qimat ada ki nahi ja sakti;
Tum jaise karz ho mohabbat ka jo ada ho rahe ho.
