The oddball comedy tour.....is outside. It's VERY hard to behave like you're in a "theater" when you're on a grass lawn. That wasn't his best show. But he still killed.
I get it to a point, but it is so self-centered to be like, "ONLY look at me! I am on stage! Your attention must be on me 100% of the time or else it is a slight against me, my profession and my ancestors!!!!!" Like... people have lives and sometimes that shit is more important than your clever anecdote. I think they(comedians) are really just upset that when someone is on their phone it feels like that person is saying "You are boring and suck." and they take it personally. No other job requires praise at all times quite like a comedians...
the way he said it seems like he does it because it makes him laugh and makes other comedians laugh, so he does it as a joke not for some narcissistic behavior, at least for Bill
