I came across this 'movie' by chance, I had the privilege of a 'slow' day in my English 'pensioner' retired and comfortable life I was surfing youtube, and the coming across of this harrowing 'Document' has oxygenated my Love and Belief in Christianity... I BELIEVE

I had sort of the same experience. It is indeed what they call an "inspiring" movie, inspired with life, hope, and an undying sense of survival.

What an amazing story about how even in dark and trying times, we can be the light of the FATHER in a dark world! The fact that she affected so many other women even in prison so much like Corrie Ten Boom. To be able to see her constant character and dignity as she loved and cared for others is something I aspire to! Such a difficult movie to watch! All the abuse and torture Colleta and the other women went through. God received the Glory in the midst of it all. It was beautiful that the young woman was able to recite Gods Word in the very prison cell Colleta inscribed the scriptures in. A marvellous film showing the power of faith and the struggle Coleta and her countrywomen sufferd. Fortunately Romania is now safely part of the European Union and in 2019 Romania had the privilege of EU Presidency for 6 months. It still has a lot of lessons to learn but faith and tenacity will help this EU state to reach for higher standards. The suffering of previous generations in Romania should never be forgotten.

I have lived amongst the population of Romania . My son has been in intensive care in Brezhnev a hundred miles from Bucharest .He was at deaths door and those people Nurses Doctors and Consultants worked fon him for many weeks to save him .and did so .

It is such an amazing movie. I will never complain about anything in this life. We should be grateful for the life given to us, more so, the understanding of life today compared to then. Though tribulations are still there today, some very heartbreaking, I say thank you, my LORD and my God. ps. 91 will be my daily devotion.

One of my kids married a Romanian Orthodox girl but she never speaks about her past life in Romania; now I can see why.
The ending says:
Nicolette Valeria Bruteanu was imprisoned from 1949 to 1953. In 1969, she and her husband, Sergiu Grossu, a former political prisoner, sought political asylum in France. There they edited a magazine named The Catacombs, and continued the fight against communism.
In 1976, her book Beni Sois Tu Prison, was published in Paris, under the name Nicole Valery, at the Plon Publishing House.
On January 14th 1996, Nicoleta Valeria Grossu died after a severe illness. Honoring her last wish, her husband brought her coffin back to Romania, to be buried beside her ancestors.
I was able to get it from the captions being on. It was translated into English. 😊

This was so beautifully sad in my first 5 minutes into the movie. Just cannot imagine the cruelty and insensitiveness of so call human could treat another human this way. Let alone, a woman or a elderly woman like this. This movie makes you just wanna cry. Then I think Jesus suffered for our sins. The lady held on to her faith, and walked the godly walk seen through blessings after blessings she would be given. You may already know of Corrie (herself a prisioner or the Nazis) but, if not, I highly recommend you read the book, The Hiding Place .......... therre is a movie however, it does not do it justice.

Corrie ten Boom survived the Nazi horrors. Later God arranged for her to meet the cruel Nazi guard &, in obedience to God, she forgave the former guard for the cruelty. Post WWII, she traveled the world. She wrote 2 must read books: "The Hiding Place" & "Tramp For The Lord". I thank God for her life & testimonies...she is with her family members and the many who came to know & serve God. All of them are now in Heaven for eternity with our precious Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ, Yesuha Hamashia, the Messiah! God who became flesh, our substitute paid the penalty on the cross for our sins so that we, who so choose, can be reconciled back to God...paid-for free gift & have eternal life with Him in the best place ever!!! PRAISE GOD!!! 👏 😇🙏👣💙💝💞❤❤❤
@@carolestrumsky6918 I'm 54 now but when I was in my teens Corrie Ten Boom came to my church to speak one evening. It changed my life. For the first time that I can remember our very large worship hall was so quiet you could hear the heartbeats of every man, woman and child. I remember looking around at every one sitting in the pews and they all had tears rolling down their faces and some were sobbing non stop. Towards the end of her speaking she shared about her missionary work and from that night and still to this day our church dedicated donations to her ministry/missionary work. Even though she passed away when I was in high-school her work continues on by the missionaries who dedicated their lives to spreading the word of God and his beloved son Jesus Christ. The church was Eastside Baptist in Marietta, Georgia.

It's always good to memorize the Word of GOD, Nicoleta inscriped the verses of the Bible on the wall in cell 24 and that encourage one lady and gave her the strength and have faith in GOD 🙏
My husband and I were just saying that even though we know scripture very well, that we may not be able to inscribe it perfectly from memory without the help of the Holy Spirit or actually taking time now to memorize it fully by heart.
I think we should fully memorize it n quote it word for word, n not just verses that could be taken out of its context, but whole chapters and whole books.
Abraham’s Faith is in Gen 26:5 .....and it was counted to him as righteousness.
We should know it cuz it’s how to love / restore and make amends with one another.
Pray we have the FAITH to stand strong till our last breath....it is coming folks, very very soon!

Does anyone know what the written paragraph says at the end of the film? I think it is a summary of the rest of Nicoletta’s life story. I looked up her story and she was an amazing witness and martyr for the cause of Christ.
I pray that we, all of us who claim to be children of God, will have the courage of our convictions. I pray that when we are persecuted we will let nothing and no one cause us to deny our faith in Christ Jesus. 🙏🏾

May the Lord deliver His people who suffer great persecutions at the hand of their enemies. This account of Coletta's is heartbreaking but at the same time how God works many a thing that we don't understand in the Christian's life for the good of His people. Romans 8:28.

I remember reading the story of Victor Frankel. There is also the book, "The Heavenly Man", a Chinese prisoner who fasted for 74 days and on the 74th day he walked out of the prison unseen.

With tears I watched, emotional and so true. The torturing in some prisons are more than Hell. These days not especially only fysical, now these days more specificated with modern technical tools. Netherland , The Hague, Haaglanden prison is such a prison. I watched this movie but it was very hard.

February 28, 2023, I am so move by both the extent of the cruelty of human kind and I was greatly moved at the prisnors throughout the prison joining in the Easter singing. WOW !

@@patriciacole8773 many people make a wrong choice allowing the evil one to enter. If these people have no one to pray for them, then they become possessed by satan. Some are permanently damned… even an Exorcism fails. GOD is outside of time and allows our prayers for previous, present and future sinners to profit from our prayers. GOD IS with us. Some people are not fully human, they only look that way on the outside. Half breed nephilim - see Genesis 6 - satans spawn. If they were fully human they would have love and empathy but they have only murder and hatred in their hearts because they are like their father. Yeshua referred to the wheat and the tares, both are left to grow to maturity. When the time comes the tares are taken out first and thrown into the fire before the wheat is reaped.
@@vry3555 people are more immoral these days because the temptation of pride is part of the original sin. They are selfish as they presume their way is the right way. It can progress to the extent that the evil one becomes their god. And worse is that they allow the devil to direct their Will. The one that hates GOD and despised humanity because from the beginning GOD has LOVED humanity. If it looks human and is tangible it is a human being and not some kind of spirit. Discernment is required when dealing with an evil human being. Mental illness is a possibility as well as very levels of possession. They were to be an example for the rest of the world, but they neglected the Spirit behind those Ten Commandments and the Holy Word of the prophets. They took to those laws literally, forgetting the Spirit. Many Old Testament prophets and the Book of Revelation predict the return of the Jews to Jesus, Our only Messiah, in the End Times.
