You must be getting excited as you see your home taking shape. Kudos to you for all your work!
When you stopped talking and walked away on camera, I lost it. Not only do you have to do the work…you have to explain it to a bunch of strangers. Hilarious! Keep up the good work. Remarkable progress.
I’ve installed alot of cabinets over the years and I will say laying floors down first is much easier and will save you time later. And if for some reason you change the layout in the future the floors will be down and no modifications will be needed. Just a suggestion.
From a person who re-did a kitchen that someone put the floor down after. My body still hurts from the mess. It cost us SO much more money. Had to lay another layer of subfloor to straighten the mess out. AGHHH. Don't do it.
PS - I learned from my Dad after growing up restoring a 300 yr old farm house AND no my husband was of no help. I did the kitchen and my bathroom on my own. My house was only 105 years old at the time.
Exactly that's the way we do it in florida
Even though we work at a different pace, I do admire your attention to detail. The cabinet install will be nice.
Best of luck with the work in the kitchen
Your tongue and groove ceiling looks great. Why don't you just cover the beam with that
💚💚
Wow, you will soon have a kitchen! Yuhoo! Blessings!
hello from Minnesota
your kitchen is going to look so beautiful when your done
Think you should do all the floors first it would be so much easier than having to cut around everything
Nate you are so particular in everything you do. Makes lots of work! Good idea about the caulking though!
Yay kitchen! Big milestone!
Wonderful
Love the ceilings!

Great job! I am admire your willingness to take on and learn such major tasks!
Oh dear... That is so so so exact. I would go crazy. 😂
Awesome job 👏🏾 👍🏿
Great video
Love this video
I watch your daily vlog so no surprises here. Looking forward to you getting all the things you need to complete the install. I know Katie will be delighted.
Why aren't you installing the flooring first??
Nate isn't the 50 amp stove receptacle mounted on the floor a safety risk considering that water could reach it in the event of a leak of some sort flooding the floor? Also, does that type of mounting meet safety code requirements?
Just wrap the beam
👍
numbers numbers numbers its all hard for me hugssss
You should have done your floor first.
Why are you sooooooooooooooo "conflicted ?????????????????????????
