If you notice in the MV multiple times when they shoot the sky and trees, it looks like neuron synapses. Synapses never touch, so the phrase at the end abt moments that bridge the gap is so perfect, specially considering the concept of this song is abt J-Hope’s old dance crew in his hometown that was called Neuron, even though there’s a gap between all of them now, they are still connected by these moments. Neuron was the start of J-Hope as the dancer we know him to be.
Also, the female rapper is yoonmirae, she is part of the rap trio MFBTY along with Tiger K (her husband since 2007 and legend in Korean hiphop) and Bizzy . Back in 2015, only 2 years after BTS debut, RM was featured in their song buckubucku and even got to perform it with them at an award show.
The more you listen to it the more you will like it. Some songs need time. The concept of the album is amazing, it represents J-hope so well. This songs need to be listened along with Hope on the street docu-series (about his life journey with dance), it's an ost album. This motion picture is hopeful and sad at the same time. In the end the photos that the kid collected are left by the old man (so it's shows j-hope road of life). When you know the meaning of everything and j-hope's story, the impression is completely different.
Bts is the best when it comes to giving an emotions from thier music, nowadays it's really uncommon thing from the popular artists. So bts giving this real, soulful art to millions is miracle in today's world. They will be remembered for decades because of that, I am so glad that I am living in the same time with them.

Something about Hobi is that even when he's expressing something sad or pondering about something dark (Jack in the Box), the quality of "optimism" "hopefulness" is always strong like a beacon (that's why he's like a sunshine), either/both in the lyrics & music but most of the time is in the beat, melody or vibe of the music. "Hope on the street Vol. 1" is an OST album to his streetdance-docu so all the songs are danceable songs.. In terms of J-hope discography, I kinda still lean to or prefer Hope World mixtape, it's both upbeat and lyrically thoughtful (you learn abt hobi more).. Jack in the Box is such a treat coz we saw a darker hobi, we learned abt his doubts, fears, and his type of greed thru a grungy feel music. In my opinion, HOTS V1 is more like a lighthearted dance album that is easy to vibe with...it's not exactly what I lean to but I still see myself listening to it coz it's easy to listen to and vibe with. I love the fact that Hobi is now doing what he longed to do, to present to the world the world of streetdance that he grew up to and rekindling his passion for dance, excitedly learning new types of dance like the kid he was years ago.
