Lego Racers - Any% Glitchless Console PB:

I DONT BELIEVE IT! I BEAT MY TIME GOAL BY A WHOLE MINUTE!? I said 1:06 was the best I was probably managing with these slow loads on the 1999 version but then for the last half of the run I absolutely BLITZED my run! An all Gold Gypsy Moth carried me to a potential 1:05 and I started getting shaky! Then the worst scenario possible happens to me on Rocket Racer... he got a boost at the start and blasted ahead! I was like "Nooo Rocket Racers gonna kill this run!" then I changed my tactic mid run to pull it back. It was a comeback truly worthy of this HUGE PB! I think this is the best minute I will be achieving for a long time now! Very very happy with how this ended! It was a 1:05:49 because I split late in shock LOL! The worst part of this run was most definately Knightmare-Athon vs Basil. I really messed that track up rather horribly and felt like it was going to be the start of a snowballing run! But that was not to be and I fought back hard and in the end absolutely SMASHED my PB! LETS GOOO!!! Oh and I only just learnt how brick contamination works so il be more careful about that through shortcuts in future lol.
Played offline at night which is why I am quiet for the most part!

This is one of the first game I remember my parents renting me for N64 and it took me all night to beat Redbeard lmao. I'll never get tired of seeing glitchless runs of childhood games.

Thank you! The PS1 version of the game is very underran so I saw it as a gap to fill lol. Its my favourite PS1 racer behind Crash Team Racing. But this game is significantly harder in my honest opinion! Theres a lot to rely on with green bricks to keep the speed up and all it takes is an ai to brick swap it and thats gone XD (I realised I accidently brick swapped myself sometimes. Opps! XD) I am not surprised you had trouble with it lol. The rubberbanding of the Champions gets quite redicolous in the later cups. Thank you for watching and commenting anyway! ❤
