Hey you should probably just put a CW or regular warning (or honestly no warning) instead of a trigger warning. I know youre trying to be helpful but the overuse of TW can be harmful because it can condition people to just ignore them over time since theyre used so liberally and for not as serious stuff. Simply put, putting trigger warnings on everything that brings people discomfort downplays more serious triggers. A TW should be used if the blade was used to actually commit a harmful act or is described or insuated to be used in a graphic way. Just cutting paper is nothing serious. Sorry if im being somewhat aggressive. I come from a family that has ptsd and it tends to frustrate me how much TWs are overused for insignificant things.
@@breew1702 totally! thank u for telling me i appreciate ur criticism and i’ll make sure change stuff like that in the future! it’s very helpful to understand triggers as i don’t personally have any deep triggers so ty for letting me know. have a good day! :)
Maybe this sounds strange but I really like that you're not precious with your work. Like at 20:02, after you painstakingly made all those little dots, it seemed like you thought "this isn't organic enough" and went over them again because that's what the painting needed. It's a healthy mindset of not being attached to something just because you put effort in, and also not expecting yourself to get everything perfect on the first attempt. I'm aiming to be more like that myself ❤️ anyway beautiful work as always, i will patiently wait for the next update too!
I love it too, that's a great mindset to have when you're an artist. Everything you do teaches you something and you really can't afford to be too precious about your work. I think that's what makes art difficult for some.
I think that pearfleur was actually just layering, since the second layer of dots they painted was much more opaque than the previous (im a traditional artist myself, however im not too sure)! but thats also only my prediction, i quite enjoy your observation! :)
I was in a lot of pain today and wanted to paint. I couldn’t muster the energy so instead I watched you. It was so calming I almost forgot about my illness.

I just bought this exact 56 miya gouache 2 days ago! Didn’t yet open it, and I am so happy to see you open the package one by one! So satisfying to see all the beautiful colors.
As a girl who lives with generalized anxiety these types of videos bring me so much peace with even the sound of the pencil just relaxes me a little bit
I love this filming style where you just let the sounds of what you're doing be the sounds for the video, instead of using a lot of music for background sounds.
Im so glad you're glad. i remember loving your channel and then there was that 1-2 year break. now that you're uploading regularly again, it's a joy every video
I am primarily a digital artist and until recently I haven't made traditional art in years and years, but discovering your channel and watching your videos has inspired me so much and i just dropped a bunch of money on art supplies :) i'm very excited to try out some new mediums!
pearfleur you should buy their dew moisturizer spray so it won't get moldy. Yeah water helps reactivate the paints but with that number of colors it would greatly help protect it and turn back into its original jelly state
your editing skills is getting better and better each and every video. like the unboxing part, you managed to edit it in a way that wasn't too repetitive, but also really mesmerizing and rhythmic, almost like a beat for a song :D

@@Crazyexgirlfriendlol hi! @katenaru has already explained it very clearly, thanks for that! but I want to add something. It's actually just the same as any other gouache out there, it's just the packaging that looks like jelly cups so people call it jelly gouache xx
product question: is the pigment strong enough not to look streaky? I have more expensive paints but I don't think I can afford to buy them for the time being.
I've had mine for a couple months, and I have to say they aren't streaky at all even when you dilute them in water. If you're interested in buying them then think it's worth the investment.
Thank you so much for this lovely video. It has cured my anxiety in a huge way. The painting came out beautiful. I enjoyed the drying process of the gouache as well as it's consistency

Wow. This gouache stays so bright after drying up! I didn't like gouache at all as a kid because the colors would become so dull after painting. I thought it was all equally bad :D
I have a smaller set of these paints, love them! The palette setup is great, too, and I'll probably refill the cups when they're empty with professional gouache paint.
I've been seeing these paints everywhere for the longest time and finally decided to give them a go. What other art supplies should I try?
pastel colors
Can you please try alcohol markers?
Like copics or ohuhu?
i'd be interested to see what you can do with ink! it behaves way different to paint than i was expecting (coloured acrylic inks)
Encre de chine.
