    The future looks bright at Texas!
    We’re loaded with young talent especially on offense. Arch is playing the long game because the Mannings know football and are totally focused on his development and preparation for the NFL.
    Texas will have 12-14 guys selected this year in the NFL draft. More than they ever have in team history and 2026 recruits will take notice.
    Sark has recruited really well thus far and we’re going to have another great class in 2026. Super excited about the future as a Texas fan.

      we have some new Oline faces no one has even seen yet, and I know of at least 1 promising WR no one has seen -- we will be fine -- they just need to lay off of Texas and let the boys get coached and play

    Yall need to get informed. Ewers can’t go into the portal anymore. 1/15 was the deadline for the portal and the NFL draft. This is not a Beck/Ward situation at all.

      @@philthekeys2825 my bad. i was thinking that he could reconsider on the draft and enter the spring portal, but as you apparently know, once you declare, that ends your college eligibility. The spring portal means some other players may depart for other college programs, but none that declared for the draft.

    Ewers was a good college QB on teams that had exceptional talent. He's missed time with injury going back to his last year in high school. My guess is he goes between the 2nd and 3rd rounds. Because of this he'll go to a better team and ultimately maybe have a better career he just might not start immediately. That's not a bad thing at all.

      We will surprise people next year with how good we are ... Arch is HIM and people will see for real how much better he is than Quinn ... kid is 6'4" 225 lbs and a baby, and runs 21+ mph ... he's a genetic freak and going to get bigger and stronger ... but his deep ball arm strength and accuracy will change our offense entirely ... he WILL beat OSU next year to open the season

  • @TxLonghornsFan

    We only have a few more pieces to add to the transfer portal - maybe 5-7 more for depth that we will add by summer. With all the coaching changes coming, we’ll likely see several studs leave other programs that Texas will be ready to scoop up since we still have plenty of NIL money left.
    Sark is very strategic and plays the long game. Last season we picked up great transfer portal talent late during the second transfer portal window and we’ll do it again this season.

    I like the potential of having a mobile quarterback. Arch's ability to read defenses and decision-making will now be fully displayed. We'll have to see if he can deliver on the hype. Hook'Em~v~

    I don’t see how Ewers, or any player of decent caliber in today’s sports landscape, would go to the NFL if he didn’t already have a pretty clear picture of what would happen. As for Texas, Manning was too much of a weapon for Sark to not use him more. Sark is a good coach but Ewers alone at the helm wasn’t going to get Texas a national championship. I don’t know any Texas fan that thought they would beat Ohio State. Low and behold, their offense couldn’t get it done when it mattered once again.

    As usual these so called “experts” are clueless. Quinn moving on to the NFL was always the plan and he’s sticking to it. He’s going to shine at the Combine and Texas Pro Day due to his arm talent.
    Hopefully, he joins a great team that won’t be desperate to play him in Year 1 so he can come along slowly.

  • @TheFlyrodder68
    @TheFlyrodder68 2 дня назад

    Quinn should've entered the portal and capitalized on the money. Quinn is not an NFL-caliber QB. He is slow, fragile, and can't move well enough in the pocket to avoid getting his throws batted. He can't move. RBs and TEs are relegated to help the O-line for maximum protection. That hurts the offense overall. A college degree other than football is what he should pursue, and he should invest his money wisely.

    teams out there -- let's be honest -- Ewers is ok -- fairly good -- but he won't win a natty for any college team -- he's just not it -- I like the kid, but I'm realistic .. I am glad he decided to go now to the NFL -- sheesh Beck will be out next year if he can -- Klubnik will be out too -- they are better than Ewers too -- he needed to get out THIS year to have a chance -- because they will go ahead of him ...
