I’m an Spanish speaker living in Ireland and I’m preparing for MRCPI exams but there is not much information available so I studied with your videos. I got my results today , I passed my 1st written part.. and I can’t be happier.. I just want to thank you for all your videos although it’s not the same exam as USMLE it has some similarities.. thanks again Dr Randy.

Hello Dr. Neil, I appreciate the videos you make for us.

I found your RUclips channel by looking for easy ways to understand bio-stats, which was my nightmare.
Your bio-stats videos and short rapid review were gold during my step study, which is one of the reasons I passed STEP 1.
Thank you so much for what you do for us!

Thanks for the wonderful video. I had a doubt, in case of papilloedema with no neurodeficits, we prefer doing LP before CT? But shouldnt CT be preceeding LP always?

    Hello!!
I have am having a a hard time with this question. Could you please make a video on it?
I am not sure what the diffeence between choices B and C
A clinical study compares several cut points for a new biomarker for bacterial bloodstream infection among adult patients in the intensive care unit (ICU) against blood culture results. Analysis shows that a biomarker value ≥2.6 ng/mL has a sensitivity of 32% and a specificity of 96% for predicting bloodstream infections. Which of the following conclusions about the study results is correct?
    Answer choices:
A* Based on a cut point of ≥2.6 ng/mL, 4% of adult patients in the ICU with bacterial
bloodstream infections will be correctly identified.
    * B. Based on a cut point of ≥2.6 ng/mL, 4% of adult patients in the ICU without
bacterial bloodstream infections will be incorrectly identified.
    C. Based on a cut point of 22.6 ng/mL, 96% of adult patients in the ICU with
bacterial bloodstream infections will be correctly identified.
    * D. Based on a cut point of ≥2.6 ng/mL, 96% of adult patients in the ICU without
bacterial bloodstream infections will be incorrectly identified.
