I have seen TOO MANY horror movies to stop on the side of the road to talk to a scary mystery child in the dead of night
I have both sleep, paralysis, sleepwalking and sleep talking. I have scared so many people by randomly walking into their room, waking up being absolutely paralyzed, falling back asleep, and then having a full on conversation with them.
The animating and characterization for your family members is so good!
Also, can confirm as a sleepwalker and sleep hallucinator, loft beds and bedrooms is a no go djdnhdnems

Gosh i cant imagine how scary sleep walking is, its only happened to me once, around 9 years old, i just woke up in my hallway wondering why i was there, so i just went back to bed and didnt tell anyone 😂
This is the first time seeing your videos. I was like, "another story time animated you tuber."
But I like your stuff, it feels a little more gentle and a little more atmospheric then most I've seen. Makes it feel nicer to watch.

I'm the complete opposite. I've suffered from sleep paralysis my whole life (though typically it's hypnagogia sleep paralysis, which is apparently more rare). However, I went through a phase when I was in high school when my doctors put me on a lot of different medications to try to address my insomnia (because my fear of sleep paralysis had become so bad) that I actually started sleep walking. It didn't last very long, but I did wake up half naked in my back yard and covered in bruises and scratches once, which was quite eerie.
My oldest story of sleepwalking was me waking my mom up with my crying, because I was trying to pull down my pull-ups in the bathroom. My sleepy hands just couldn't do it, and I super didn't want to wet myself.
My last sleep "walking" story was when I was in high school. I woke up pretty late, my toast next to me, cold. I was super pissed because my mom didn't wake me (alarms did not work for me back then).
Turns out, she did. I sat up, looked at her, we exchanged "Good mornings" and I said I slept well. That whole time, I was dreaming about something entirely different, so I'm certain I was asleep.
So far, I don't think I've sleepwalked since. That, or I've had no witnesses.

I sleep walk and talk, it was really bad when I was a little kid. My parents thought I was possessed bc they would always wake up to me watching them in a corner in the dark. What’s worse, I would sleepwalk with my eyes opened wider than they usually are (probably bc it would always be dark). Eventually, I began to close/sometimes lock my door while I sleep and I also got a loft bed! But, now I have a normal bed and I occasionally run around my room while I sleep…especially when I dream of running around.
I work in sleep health and your video is so good at explaining some of the chemical reasons behind common parasomnic episodes! So cool!!!

I for some reason would sleep talk in my sleep which on its own wouldn’t be that much of an issue but played all sorts of games and animes so I would be quoting some random Kingdom Hearts moment and my parents would be watching me and recording. I always woke up so embarrassed 💀💀💀

I LOVE this video, reminds me of family stories. I have this uncle that, in his teenage years, would sleepwalk as if he was awake. I mean, full awareness, full conversations while he was deep asleep, as he walked around the house with his eyes closed without ever bumping into any furniture or triping down the stairs. His siblings would purpusely stay awake just to witness and interact with him while he was asleep, and he NEVER remembered anything.

Same! When I was 1-2 I knew how to talk (and walk). I just didn't. I literally had to go to speech therapy. Also I once sleeped walked and talked to my brothers room! (My mom told this to me) . My brother said I think I said "hi brother!!" and waved. And my brother was terrified, I feel bad.

i learned to do that growing up because my dad has ridiculous hypertension and is very sensitive to noise, but it backfired on him cause he's the one who often gets jumpscared by me.

I remember one time I was sleepwalking and I slept into the basement of my house and my mom just saw me just standing in the middle of the stairs, she asked me what was wrong and I just turned around and went back to my room XD

My best friend slept walked and talked for a while and it got REALLY bad when she was a teenager. Once, when she was about 17ish she woke up to her mom looking for the car keys and they finally found them in her dresser drawer. Then when they went out to the car, it was parked at an odd angle! As they were piecing the puzzle together, her dad said that at about 1AM she had walked out of her room, grabbed the keys, and left. Then she came back about 20 min later and went to bed! They're a pretty chill/ independent family when it comes to "doing your own thing" and so he just thought that she might have gone to the conner store for a drink or something and didn't think twice about it until they were all freaking out! lol!
HELP I HAD THE SAME SLEEP WALKING PROBLEMS, once (i was also in a loft bed, imagine that), i had climbed down, got a bruise on my back from the doorknob on my way down, and just started running around the house screaming and flaunting my arms everywhere.

my sister used to sleep walk too, she gave herself a concussion by throwing herself off of a desk when we were little. if you sleep walk please take steps to ensure you don't have anything in your room that could hurt you and lock yourself in.
My first sleep walking experience was when I was 7. I woke up outside it was traumatizing, there is more to the story but it’d take too long to type.

When I got a loft bed my mom was really nervous about me sleep walking and falling and it turns out I was able to sleep walk down the ladder, safely go to the bathroom, sit on the toilet and start manically laughing, then walk back up into my bed WHILE SLEEPING 😂

When I was little me and my family lived out in the middle of nowhere and somehow I not only sleptwalked out the front door, but I climed over the fence gate and made it like, half a mile down the road before waking up.

Wei, your sleepwalking stories nearly made me pee myself laughing. To share a story of my own I, as a kid, would also sleepwalk a fair amount. I don’t have any notable stories of walking anywhere far but my mother says that I would frequently walk up to the side of her bed and just stare at her sleeping to the point she’d wake up, to me staring at her, and tell me to go to bed to which I’d either climb in with her or go back to my own bed

I do similar things and since I always wear this one sweater my dad just puts bells in it so people hear me but every couple days I wash my sweater and sleep walk because the bells wake me when I move … my dad almost punched me in the face scared to death because of the shadowy figure standing next to his bed whispering
