What a great drum corps. Listen to those tenor rhythms. no reservation. very present, complex rhythms; but with a musical, resonate touch. the whole drum corps is creating a lot of music. great job Mr. Jorgensen.
We've revisited the slow Air arrangement of the piobaireachd, Lament for Mary MacLeod this year Stuart. Fresh take on it with a reprise at the end of the medley.
Agreed, well done on the construction and orchestration Chris. This is one of the most interesting combinations in a medley that i've heard before, oscillating between very traditional elements and some very modern where the magnitude of the contrast between the two truly stands out. LOVE the intro tune, allows for us to simply enjoy the big bold tone and full harmonies. Marches in D are the best! It also ensures the band is memorable compared with the other top competitors. Also like the clever reappearance of 3/4 time again in the waltz and all the fun high A syncopation melodies towards the end. Judging by the crowd's reaction, I don't think they got it as to how different and cool this was.
i love the opening tune its so calming and peaceful compared to other bands
Jordan Murphy we play that tune a lot it is very nice as an opener
Hardie lyle it's a nice tune altogether tbh

The best I have heard them in a number of years. The sound has improved massively. Well done!
No doubt that's why they're consistently back in the running for the top of the prize list!
