Last year, Chelsea were defensive-minded Team who can counter-attack while Man City were attacking-minded Team who can defend because of R. Dias. It is interesting to see Chelsea (defensive-minded Team) with addition of R. Lukaku in their attack. 👀

Can't help but admire Chelsea and Tuchel, I'm a United fan but an English fan above anything regarding football...and I have to say that Chelsea done English football proud last season winning the champions league...and as much as it would pain me for Man United not to win the Premier league, It wouldn't surprise me if Chelsea win it...English football wins either way... The difference between previous Chelsea coaches and Tuchel is that he sees each victory as a stepping stone for another victory or trophy. I remember the champions league final interview, where he mentioned that this victory is good but tomorrow is another day and we should forget today and focus on new targets. What a guy!

I love TT's mentality, and you can see it on his players. Him and this squad are match made in heaven. Lukaku will add another dimension for him and he too seems like he has the same mentality now. His thought process when answering to all these question is impressive. Hes very intelligent, funny and shows passion for what he does. Loved seing Frank as Chelsea manager bcs hes a legend and loves the club. But other than Frank theres no other manager the last few years, including Mourinho, that I like more than Tuchel. Really believe even if there will be downs there will be alot of ups that come from that with the current manager.
But we're incredibly boring though. Our matches are not as exciting as they should be with the amount of talent we have.
@@tapiwanashenhanga446 Under Frank they were too exciting and cost us games. Hes job coming in was get top 4 and only way to do that was be more defensive. The more time the manager has with the team things will be different. I mean the amount of chances Chelsea created last season under Tuchel against the best in Europe was exciting. Had Chelsea been deadly things would have looked very different. So I wouldnt say its that boring just looks way more controlled and not a chaos, almost like a tennis match, that it was start of last season. Judging the team on pre season games when everyone isnt fully fit isnt fair. Chelsea has alot of possession, can sit deep then counter against teams that are better with the ball, can use the wings better now with Lukaku in the box and can play long to Lukaku if needed. Alot of weapons, so I dont see how its going to be ”boring”.

Kante’s fitness is a major concern for me for how this season will play out. I hope it’s just proactive and not serious but could really use another player of a similar profile as kante in the midfield. Jorginho and kova didn’t look very solid against Villarreal

Tuchel is a mastermind. We are definitely winning the prem this season.
We need to give this man Tchouameni/Kamara/Rice and Kounde and then we get a winger in January. Not sure Pulisic is serious with his career! Marina just needs to back this man. The only reason Tuchel won’t switch formations is because of the caliber of defenders we currently have and the weakness in depth in the midfield. Lukaku is great but we still need a good no.6 and Kounde.

I wouldn't mind having Haaland for Werner (remember Drogba/Anelka), the young German needs somewhere to sharpen his skill set, calm down a bit and improve his goal scoring. Same as Cho and Pulisic. Heard Italy is a good place for that. We have many creative forwards with little or no end result. I even feel we've become a Manchester city - like team. Hope Lukaku being a target man fixes that and reduces the reliance on Werner.
