I agree with the previous poster re: screen capturing software but overall, I thought the instruction was clearly presented and easy to follow. Not to mention how beautiful his bird photographs are!!
lovely photos and i believe his way of presenting things is pretty cool and very clear , i never saw a video on layer masks which is much easier to understand for dummies like me and very informative... keep up the good work and would love to see more videos from you Glenn :)
Very informative thank you. Just one question though. Should you want to alter brightness and reduce noise, i.e. make more than one adjustment, would you duplicate the background twice and apply a mask to each?

Glenn this is a very good tutorial but that bird in the book is not a great egret, instead it is a snowy egret.
Two 20 pound/dollar? demo. You were painting in black to reveal the background layer?
I thought you would have to use white. I'm lost.
