    Have you ever seen a correlation between B12 deficiency and Irlen syndrome?
    I've so far seen no explanatory model for where the individual Irlen syndrome symptoms come from.
    B12 deficiency (e.g. during pregnancy or early childhood) seems like a good contender.

    How about this:
    Strong cognitive and psychological symptoms show up from anything causing inflammation in the body, e.g. sinus infection.
    Could this be related to B12 nerve damage or myelin sheath damage making the nervous system more sensitive to inflammatory responses in the area around the nerve?
    Same for allergic reactions with mast cell release causing instant neurological, cognitice and psychological/emotional symptoms.
    (Mast cells were only recently discovered to exist in the brain as well. I think Dr. Theoharides was one of the researchers involved)
    Seems to me this could be related (and possible ameliorated) by B12 deficiency and its treatment?

    What about vertigo

    • @swintegrative
      @swintegrative  2 месяца назад

      Sometimes imbalance can give you the sense of vertigo, but no, I don’t think low B12 causes vertigo in the strictest sense of the word.

    Sir.. From 4 months i have symptoms like proprioception and balance, whenever i put my feet on ground its feel like contact between my feet and ground is not proper, and whenever i take a shower and wash my face in a wash basin its like i have a tendency to fall.
    What these issues signifies??? Somewhere i found that if you are late in diagnosis then complete resolution of symptoms may not occur, that means i will never recover sir, because i was diagnosed after 4 months of symptoms
    Help me out sir

      well if you are saying you have b12 deficiency there is a reasonable chance it will reverse if and when you get your levels up. It's not clear from your comment if you have that. The best thing you can do is see a neurologist that can give you proper guidance. good luck.

    Hi doctor
    I was deficient in b12 for more than a year. I had balance issues that persisted for one year and I got myself tested for a b12 deficiency and I was found to be severely deficient. I was given daily injections of 1000 microgram daily, the once weekly. My symptoms almost vanished after the first 10 days. But after 3 months I am again having balance issues.
