Casting Jaw Plates for our Jaw Crushers

  • We have started making our own replaceable cast jaw plates for our jaw crushers! The manganese steel work hardens on the surface giving the plates a very hard and abrasion resistant layer that does the crushing. It is great to be able to use our scrap metal that is already here in the USA to melt, cast, and manufacture our own parts. Keep our resources local as much as possible. For any questions please give us a call or email. Thanks for watching!

    How did you know the scrap item you bought was the proper composition for your application?

  • @slipstreamvids7422
    @slipstreamvids7422 6 месяцев назад

    Once you have that scrap melted it would be worthwhile to pour a sample that could be assayed to determine it exact composition. Perhaps it might need re alloying to bring it back to spec.

    If the damaged crusher jaw can be recycled and molded again without adding any other materials, you do not have to melt it and pour it into molds only.
