Cassie, Your backing skills are far better than mine were many decades ago when I was in the US army and was assigned a tractor trailer for a bit. Also, did you once ask what the small fork-lift you were using inside the truck was called in different areas of the world? Anyway, here in the US they are sometimes called 'Pallet Jacks'. A few years ago, at a part time job, someone was running a fork-lift waaaay too fast and stabbed a pallet of 1 gallon paint cans. It took about six of us almost an hour to clean up the mess. Always the best day EVER when new video from one and only Trucker Cassie 🤩 Ooh, lot's of truck and trailer maneuvering in this video! I would never have courage enough to go to those tight spots IRL, always different in a video game without the responsibility and such. Something about reversing a truck, which i have talked about with so many trucker colleageues and my friends and they ALL have agreed the same, it's strange how it works, some days you can be really handling it flawlessly... but then there just are those days when the trailer goes completely somewhere else where you're wanting it to go. it's like a complete mystery, completely depending "just on the day". And also funny discovery is that everytime when im not having any stress or hurry, and feeling good and taking it SLOW pace. im always doing stuff faster than when im actually trying to hurry up LOL. It's just so much unnecessary mishaps and shenanigans when trying to be faster under tight schedule and lots of stress and pressure. One last word; you ARE really good at reversing! woo! 🙂🥳🎉🎈

Hi Cassie , Not to offend anyone, but finally a real truck. It's very similar to the one I drive in ETS2. The difference is just that I drive a Link truck. I recognise the struggles with reversing. Usually with me, if I need to do a 2nd attempt, a usually need another attempt are many corrections, especially if there are cars waiting for you or the situation is otherwise busy. Big difference of course is that I only drove with a 16.5m semi-trailer, and not the 25.25 meter combination that you are! I really have a lot of respect for the skills you have.
I have much admiration for truck drivers , both our sons are truck drivers in the Netherlands , but don't have trucks as big as yours of 24 mtrs. Greetings
Hi Cassie. Unfortunately, when you drive more, you sit more and before you know it, you're getting too comfortable. Then it gets a bit painful (muscle soreness) when you start to regain muscle flexibility. For you, it's good if it's just the lack of movement that's made you comfortable, but some people give themselves a few pounds. Which is much harder to lose than to gain. I had plenty of opportunities to reverse with a trailer, but I couldn't get to grips with it. It often didn't go where I wanted it to. So you haven't seen many bad pushers so far, unlike the workers praising you. I saw that someone had to turn the truck around and push the trailer nose-first to the loading dock. Such is life, some days are good, some days are not so good. You have a good sense of driving. That's life, some days are good, some days are not so good. What matters is that you love doing it and you make money doing it, and the details become memories. Tomorrow is another new week and it was a very short weekend. Am I right? It’s handy to have a reversing camera on the rear of the lorry, that way you can check the front bogie to see what direction it is sending the trailer ( also from Scotland, with the best of intentions)

You guys in Sweden have the coolest trailers. Back doors and opening sides. So much easier to load and unload than in Canada.
