If you're not going to drift boost, you're going to get murdered by the AI en masse. Twas the case with the original, and it hasn't changed. Chain drift boosting around the track is difficult, but so satisfying when you get it right.

It’s frustrating because even in single player you have to do every race perfect to win , one mistake that’s it.
Every time he rages is me in video games when I constantly die.
I'm 12 but I played this and the crash games when I was like 3 to 6 and I've loved getting the remastered versions to relieve some memories

Lαzεr _ _ _ _ oh imo it's definitely harder than Mario kart you have to work out how to do the boost method whereas Mario kart you just press a button to drift which I've never really understood so I just boost of every ramp I see and make sure I don't miss power ups harder than I remembered when I played as a child though

If these are the early levels of the game, and in medium difficulty, i think this is a bit too hard for sure! This is frustrating definitely. It makes me less looking forward to buying the game... lol

As a kid I played an unreal amount of CTR with my sister on ps2. Miss those times. Things were much simpler
The game ai needs to be fixed. After you stop or shoot a character. They recover way too quickly. The part at pirates cove when you shot the racer with three rockets and still beat you. 🤷♂️
M mile, yeah from the older game I don’t remember the recovery so quick from AI.
I see a lot of “get good.. crash is hard” comments, from those pointing these flaws out- but there are some valid aspects that I see that need to be fixed. Beat the original game fairly easy. Looking forward to this one.
Actually, there was something he could have done. If he hit the second boost pad, he may have just clutched it.
Also, a tip from me as a CNK player, I respect the fact that he went out of his way to find tips. But for powersliding, he needs to do it almost all of the time, not just on corners. There is even a tip that says this at the start.
When I saw the Notification for this video I said ohhhhh “not again” 🤣🤣

Tips for people out there: the drift button acts as a jump and you can use ramps and little bumps to get a free boost. ALSO, collect the wumpa fruit. You’ll see the game feel a little easier through that.
I cannot believe you’ve never played this bro. My mom always played Spyro, Crash and Ratchet and Clank and with that me and my younger bro have always been smashing eachother at those games. Thank you Mom for giving me this pleasure lol! Crash is underrated for sure and I’m happy they’ve brought it back.

Use your power ups like the 3x missles right off if 2 people ahead of you!! I was yelling the whole time! That way each "?" Box gives you another power up

Oh this is gonna be my 5th comment but if you go lookalike the characters you Can see Tiny having full speed for example and crash has an equal of 3/4 or so and because of that every track has a different approach

Trev you can use the power ups backwards, you can hold down on the d pad and toss the middle to the ppl behind you, and there are shortcuts on almost every map!
I know how he feels as the game is pretty difficult at the start but it is a great learning curve 0/ I do not ever want to know how hard mode is :P

I had the original CTR PS1 but I played it on my PS2 never start with the second place just go straight on crash cove there's a small gap of advantage if u go to another but that's kinda bull, the orginal always puts u in 8th place than u drive and win to first place and also the sound affects drown out the music along with the voiceless hope u can turn it down or maybe switch back to the original BETTER OG soundtrack cause Crash cove remix is junk tbh

I'll be honest i had it on easy at first aswell casue i had no idea of what i was doing. But once i got the hang of it i bumped it up to medium and now i'm not having not much trouble! Never touching Hard tho no way..

If you get mad on the first level, the time trials will make you go crazy. Tiny Temple Oxide time trial is a nigh impossible, I spent all day just to beat N Tropy on that track.
Put the difficulty on Easy then...
