You shouldn't have to change yourself just to make other people comfortable. That's not to say you shouldn't also be making sure that your daughter isn't facing any kind of serious hardship because of it. I suppose you just have to talk to her about it before making any kind of decisions about possibly "toning it down". Either way, you know we'll all support you 🖤
I love that blouse with the necklace, so pretty. And I wouldn’t worry too much about toning things down. I’m an early years teacher and the other day one of the children said to me “you’re scary” and smiled, and as it wasn’t an insult but more a cute observation from a 3 year old I simply smiled back and said “thank you” and took it as a compliment 😁

I also love boots. But I too live in a hot country (Brazil). Until a few years back, there was not an alternative brand that made sandals, and we pay a lot of taxes to buy stuff from other countries, so foreign brands were never an option. But now we have a alternative brand that sells all kinds of shoes (vegan shoes also) that saved every brazilian goth's feet from sweating to extinction 🤣
I also want to wear boots year round! They are the most comfortable on my feet and I love the look of any boot, although I live in Virginia where it can be 100'F and very humid in the summer :/ Those large stud boots were definitely a favorite of mine! You look lovely today!!

Absolutely not just you! I've had the same experience every single time I've purchased Demonia and one of their other brands (Funtasma), as within the first month of owning my Swing-220s is when the sole peeled halfway off the platform on one of the boots in the middle of a school day. I had to be extremely careful to not break an ankle and make it through the rest of the day. No attempts to glue the platform back flush to the sole have managed to make the shoes wearable again. I don't think I do anything crazy with my shoes, so it baffles me to have had this quick of a deterioration in the shoes. I attempted purchasing the Victorian boots by Funtasma twice, and the first time the heel caps fell off but the second the heel actually started deteriorating through the cap within 3 months of wearing the shoes walking around school on a daily basis. I've had basic shoes from China perform better, and I'm wondering how people keep shoes from Demonia in peak condition when I've always had problems. They should be sturdier to last over a year at least with heavy wear and tear at their price point.
I liked the maroon velvet boots and the white studded flats best. It was nice to see some vegan friendly items as they seem rare at times 🙂. Btw, you look so lovely today and I really liked your makeup look 💜🌹🦇

I still cannot believe how similar Argentina's weather is compared to your location. We're having storms right now, super hot during the day like 37 °C, and at night goes down super fast. I know how it feels when you don¿t know what to wear. When I go out, I have to take a "just in case" sweater, an umbrella and pants haha
Yep! I think parts of South America have similar weather patterns to Northern Australia, especially Queensland. We've got a mixture of tropical rainforest and desert, super humid, lots of cyclones in summer...

I work as someone who sells supportive shoes on a daily basis, and YES narrow feet are hard to fit...Narrow and double wide and triple wide feet. If you ever want casual, supportive shoes for narrow feet, the brand Naot is pretty good. Or Taos shoes as well. Also I'm a 35 or a 4-4.5 in womens, so I understand 110%!

Are the burgundy boot thick in the back of the foot part? I tend to bend my shoes a lot since I have a bit of crooked feet (should have worn those thick books as a child, but oh well) and if they are not thick they will get ruined in quickly :/

I wonder where "under the weather" came from because taken literally it sounds really dumb, but the phrase is meant to sound cutesy which is odd. When women act dumb and helpless to appear cute and feminine, makes me cringe.
O...k? Its a phrase used within all areas of English speaking society, not just by women. The history of the phrase came form those travelling by boat, and the weather events (storms, strong winds, etc) would cause the boats to rock, which heightened sea sickness...thus giving birth to the phrase 'Under the weather". I highly recommend a book called 'Common Phrases: And where they come from', which explains a lot of the idioms and metaphors used within language. :) xx

Unfortunatly most of the shoes only go up to a UK 8. I am a UK 10 but can manage a 9 in some styles. I am a US 12 and can manage an 11 in some styles.
