Awesome video.Kim killed it ...that was a tank sheep. congrats on that one..thank you for the shout out brother.keep up the great videos guys.
... that Sheep was fat too, I think the fillets were bigger than that Red. Appreciate the kudos 👍
Salty Strikes what bait was she using? Can’t wait till my bottom sweeper jigs arrives. Do you they work well in the summer also?
James Walker ... fiddler crabs and shrimp, I believe she got the Red with a Fiddler and the Sheep with shrimp, you would have thought it would have been the other way around. Only been using them for a few months. Keep watching and you’ll see how they do during summer 😁👍
Salty Strikes thanks for the feedback!! Great content
Nice catches!! Definitely a big Sheepshead for Sure!
Thanks 🙏🏻 👊💥
Nice catch.
dang Kim killed it! Great day catching! That Sheepie was a PIG! Glad to see yall back out there making it happen and thanks for the video
D Horne .. she was so happy about that catch, thanks for watching
Quite a variety of the locals....Kim snagged up some Reel Bottom Beasts with the Convict and Bronzze Bulldog!!
Wes Lovelace ... made Kim’s day, mine too, I get just as excited to see her pulling in Big-unnns 😁👍
Wow... Those are some awesome fish great job Kim
Sit back relax and enjoy the show....
Good job guys....Great fish.....
Nice fishing man, glad to see people stay fishing during this down time
Mintenk fishing ...as long as we are allowed to we’ll keep bending rods and rolling camera 👍
Fishing salt water, just the funnest thing. And some good meals you have coming. I caught a nice sheepshead once, but that thing puts it to shame. Fun to see the convo with Mike D, always great to share a good day's catch.
Frank Jamger ... Kim was definitely super excited and proud. Mike has shared to much to so many on his channel, great guy.
*What a Nice Day of Fishing w/some really Great Catches for Kimber... Question: Have you ever tried adding some "Salty Strikes Brand" sea water into your ice... making for a quick cool-down-slush-bath along with gill bleeding your catch? Your fish will taste much better... and it really does get and keep them colder especially on hot days. We used to toss in a small handful water softener salt into the ice; especially when we were in brackish water.* Thanx ever so much ..gw
gw wile ... I’d have to get to a drain stop, but a good idea, thanks I’ll keep that in mind. Front boxes drain right out the boat. Haven’t had any quality issues with the fish yet.
Sweeeeet Sheepie!!!! Got some good eating right there buddy. Congrats on her PB😎
jay johnson ... she’s was pretty happy about that one 👍
Salty Strikes Yea she should be plus that nice red too!! These women sometimes have that magic touch😎
Awesome job! Those sweeper jigs are awesome!
Deena Outdoors .. thanks, Kim is super proud about those catches. We started using the BSJ to target Sheepshead but they seem to catch everything 😁🤷♂️
@@SaltyStrikes I wanna get some, just haven't yet but that's def gonna change!
Deena Outdoors ... let me know how they work for ya, I’ve been curious how they transition to working for vertical jig to work in the surf. We use the 1/0 - 1/2oz.
@@SaltyStrikes idk if id use them in the surf, not at first. More of a jetty/yak kind thing. Have you seen anyone use them for the beach? I'm curious to how they would work as well.
Deena Outdoors ... surf would probably just be dragged in by waves and current, but probably good for casting like a lure and bobbing it across the bottom with shrimp or sand fleas 🤷♂️
Sheepzilla! Nice work!
Kevin Boer .. we appreciate the kudos 👍
Awesome! Wish I can go out. Hope the open the boat ramps soon.
Chasing Dinner ... most are still open in this area, hopefully they stay that way 🤞🤞. How’s the boat build going??
Salty Strikes Just finished building the outboard engine bracket. I am now cutting out all the access hatches. Should be ready to paint in about a week. However still looking for center console and other parts.
Chasing Dinner .. hope you’ve had that 🎥 rolling, can’t wait to see 👍
Dang, that’s a beast of a sheepshead!
Water and Ice Outdoors ... thanks, she’s was on fire 🔥 that day
Yea the Mack’s should be in full swing
Nice sheep
Hope fully the ugly stick intercostal will keep up with the snook can you give me a date on when your going to do the video of ugly stick intercostal MH vs the snook can’t wait 😊
Rigo Berto ... probably gonna be like mid May, I usually don’t target Snook until the end of the spring season. If I run into them before then I’ll try and make a point to put it to the test. I have no doubt that the Ugly Stik can handle em.
Nice vid & awesome sheep, Kimber!!!
Chris Gilpin ... been out much? Lots of Blues and Mackerel around.
@@SaltyStrikes finally picked up a CC - got a sportsman 212 open - and we went out to Site 5 the day they closed the ramps in NSB & I got sea sick 🤢 but it was pretty rough. I desperately need a trolling motor so we can stay over the fish and have been watching your vids on the one you installed. Debating if I should try to do it or just get it installed. We'll be out there on Tuesday if the weather plays nice.
@@SaltyStrikes I feel like the thumbnail of that huge Sheep is gonna get you to 1,000 subs!
Chris Gilpin ... it was easy to install, depending on the configuration of your boat and where the batteries go, it a one afternoon job.
Chris Gilpin ...🤞🤞🤷♂️😁
Awesome fishing guys! Do you guys anchor up or use the trolling motor to keep you still?
Jack Mehoff ... Motor Guide Xi5 105lb 72” 36v trolling motor does the trick 👍
BUTCH TEAGUE SPRINGHILL,LA THANK YOU FOR TAKING ME ALONE
She kicked your butt!!! lol
50 Shades Of Blue ... if I’m gonna get my butt whooped, there’s no better way 👍
@@SaltyStrikes Only way to do it
👍😎 Would you buy another Robolo? Now that you've had it awhile? I noticed the screws for the rod holders don't seem to be high grade stainless and are showing a little corrosion. Stuff like that is annoying right? Any other comments you might have regarding Robolo (PRO's, CON's) would be appreciated. Anyway thanks for your video's. They're always nice to watch. Nice Freegin sheeps head Kim. My wife and I fish together too. Yes, I'm also in charge of baiting and handling of all fish. Bless her heart. 😎😎
…. Yes and no, I love our Robalo but when we bought it we weren’t as hardcore fishing as we are now. Most of the rust on the rod holders are aftermarket install and I don’t think the screws where 316. I’ve got a lot of request recently to do another review video after owning it for a while. I’ll try to do that pretty soon, keep an eye out in the next few weeks. I’ll be thorough and share some new things I’ve added. Couples that fish together stay together 😁👍.
I'll look forward to that. Thanks Chris.😎👍
Hey there. Are you going to do a video on the fish finder?
… still working on making that happen, definitely on my to do list!!
Obviously you need Kim with you (good luck charm) she crushed it, good day off fishing
... right!!! 👍 , she always seems to find them.
Nice fishing your two. what model boat that?
EbbnflowTV ... Thanks 🙏🏻, we have a 2018 Robalo R200, ruclips.net/video/VtyRlSMDz1k/видео.html
When you guys fishing under the causeway again. I’ve been trying but nothing yet
Andrew Kitka ... ever since they closed the NSB boat ramp we haven’t made it down that way. They just opened up to “locals only”, which include Dade county (the most Covid ridden county in FL) but not Seminole or Orange County residents. 🤦♂️🤷♂️
Salty Strikes well I’d love to run into you guys! I’m usually out there everyday on the kayak
Andrew Kitka ... don’t be a strange, paddle over and say “Hi” 👋 👍
Salty Strikes I’ll definitely stop and say hey! Love new friends!
Great day bro. What were you baitin with.
Ronnie Gregory ... fiddler crabs and shrimp, She caught that big Red with a Fiddler.
See James..... he drops fish all the time...lol
Joseph Mccarthy ... aaaaaalllll the time 😂😂😂👍
Kim took you to school, good thing she was there or you would've went home hangry, great vid. btw what ramp did you put in at thats open, we live in sanford and don't want to drive over and ramp not actually be open
Bubbletrail ... only New Smyrna City ramps are closed, all other Volusia county ramps are still open. The next two closest are south to Oak Hill by Mosquito Lagoon and North to Port Orange.
Bubbletrail ... if you freshwater, I heard Seminole county ramps opened back up.
New Smyrna ramps are supposed to be opening back up tomorrow 4-17
Joseph Mccarthy 👏👏👏👍👍
Joseph Mccarthy ... just read the article, open to Locals only, “locals” include people from Miami but not Seminole or Orange County. How dumb is that 🤦♂️
What do you Rig your polls with? Been trying to get myself a red fish inshore
Dreck Mason ... in this video we were using live shrimp and fiddler crabs on Bottom Sweeper Jigs. We use Fish finder rig quite often too. Depending on the current you can go heaven or lighter but we typically use 1oz egg sinker inshore. We fish the current though. In back water where the current is slower and water shallower, free lining may work best.
Nice Video👍👍👍👍
Happy Good Day👍👍👍👍

🙏🏻🙏🏻 thanks, really appreciate the support!!
I caught a 8.7 pound sheepshead
Leighton Lackey ... nice 👍 good job 👊💥, I didn’t weigh that one but probably should have.
She was using the Penn Pursuit 3 2500?
.. yes sir
@@SaltyStrikes -that’s awesome. Seems like they’ve gone up in price but may be worth it. would be fine for bass fishing?
@@jlruiz7634 ... she pulled up a 5’ nurse Shark with that, I’m sure it’s perfect for Bass. Keep an eye Amazon, they go on sale every now and again.
@@SaltyStrikes -hey thanks for the info. Good talking to you
@@jlruiz7634 ... any time 👍
